Gruene Vista is something out of a fairytale. This beautiful 3,400 square foot home on the Guadalupe river features a 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath floor plan, is newly updated, and comfortably accommodates up to 4 adults.

The living room offers Texas flare, complete with gorgeous decor, 2 comfy couches, a large HDTV, and stunning views from the large windows. The kitchen includes all cooking and dining essentials as well as features a large dining table and bar seating providing plenty of dining space for your guests. Head through the kitchen and you'll find a pool table room for some post-dinner billiards.

Head downstairs where you'll find a beautiful master bedroom with a king-size bed and attached bath with a large tub and a walk-in shower. The second bedroom offers a king-size bed with access to the patio and gas grill as well as a second full bathroom with a walk-in shower. The third bedroom includes a queen-size bed.

Need more room? There's plenty! Upstairs you'll find a bedroom complete with a king-size bed, a queen sleeper sofa, and HDTV. You'll also find a third full bathroom as well as a study/office area with an additional sleeper sofa. There's also a laundry room with a full washer and dryer available for use.

The backyard of this stunning home offers a covered patio and barbecue area, as well as an open deck on the back of the property that offers views of the Guadalupe River and surrounding valleys from high above.

Then there's the location Gruene Vista is perfectly located just one mile from Gruene Hall and the Historic Gruene District, and only three miles from Schlitterbahn, the Comal River tube chute, and downtown New Braunfels. For the kids, check out beautiful Landa Park, where guests of all ages will appreciate the spring-fed waters, and the Founders Oak Tree, the mightiest oak tree in Texas!

Great location and house

Girls Weekend!

Such a GREAT location and the house was exactly what we wanted!! Loved hearing the sound of the River rapids while enjoying coffee in the mornings! We plan to come back again!!

Great House!

Great house! Perfect layout for larger groups and multi-generations. The open common area was perfect, with the privacy of bedrooms spread out. Love the deck overhanging the river. We spent a few nights on the deck at sunset enjoying the view, listening to the birds and watching turtles in the river. Nice location, close enough to Gruene and other attractions but not too close if you value quiet privacy. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely home

It was a small family get together of sorts. We played cards, pool, cooked out, watched movies, sat on the deck over the river relaxing and watching the sunset with a nice glass of wine, perfect. There was plenty of room so everyone had space and my parents could have their siesta and watch the news (loudly) without drowning us all out. The house is close enough to everything and we enjoyed the resident deer in the front yard.

Hill Country Getaway

The property was as advertised. Communication with property management company excellent. This home is spacious and perfect for 3 couples. We each were able to enjoy our private bedrooms and attached baths. Deck overlooking the river was better than the pictures let on. Location to Gruene is very nice, although too far to walk after dark. Location to river road excellent if you wish to enjoy the attractions there. It is an older property but well maintained and well stocked for a very comfortable stay.

Buttercup Camp

Delightful stay overlooking Guadalupe River. The deck overlooking the river was the best spot on the property for morning coffee, afternoon relaxation, and early evening sunset. Inside the home was very pleasant with many lovely pieces of artwork enhancing the walls. The living room had a very comfortable half circle couch with built in reclining seats for TV viewing. The house sleeps 10 but we only found silverware with 4 dinner forks. The kitchen table was oblong with bench seating which was hard and uncomfortable. We are card players and spent evenings seated on those uncomfortable benches. Our recommendation is a big round table with comfy chairs with backs seating 8-10 people. The smallest bedroom should have a small night table with a reading lamp. The biggest problem was it takes several minutes for the hot water to heat--- several minutes! The management company was very responsive to concerns and issues-- such as TV not working in upstairs suite and hot water problem. Overall a beautiful home, a relaxing stay and a semi-well stocked kitchen. Lots of glasses!!! The location is just minutes away from Downtown Gruene and in a very quiet neighborhood.

Very nice house in quiet location

The home was nice and comfortable. The home is situated on a lot to provide a decent amount of privacy and tranquility, with neighbor homes visible but far enough away. Relaxing and pretty. The management and readiness of the home could be improved a bit. Limited toilet paper and towels. We only had 8 guests, so if there were more, you'd not have enough of these items. Coffee maker definitely needs to be upgraded... low end model that takes a long time to create a single pot. We did have a leak in a downstairs toilet, leaking water from behind the toilet on the floor. When contacted the management company said to "turn off the water to the toilet". There are only 2 toilets to serve the downstairs - the master and the second one which serves the communal living areas and the 2 downstairs bedrooms which sleep 4. Turning it off and being without a toilet for a weekend is not a viable option The leak wasn't bad enough to be a huge issue but felt the solution could have been better handled. Overall a pretty and quiet home, with a nice kitchen and layout.

Great stay!

Great stay! Big house with lots of beautiful views. We really enjoyed the large kitchen and dining area and the outdoor patio. Loved how comfortable the beds were and the proximity to town. The shower did not work and the plumber never arrived. All the faucets have an excess of gunk built under them that if cleaned with vinegar they would run more efficiently. The dishwasher was also not working. The door was broken so it could not be used. I did already let you know about those things. The coffee pot needs replacing. It is not working correctly and we couldn't get it to make a full pot. Thank you for the stay

Wonderful house

House was perfect for our group of 6. It could easily accommodate more. Beds were all pretty comfortable compared to many rentals we've stayed in. Nice open Floorplan and nicely decorated. Outdoor area is nice and river views are nice. Only improvements I would request is a new coffee maker. It takes 20 minutes to make a pot. There is a kuerig if you like those but the filter one is very slow. We requested a later check-out which they accommodated for a small fee. I would rent this house again. Great location for Gruene and New Braunfels attractions.

Very nice place

This place was awesome and really clean. We loved seeing the deer in the yard. Very peaceful and relaxing with plenty of room for a huge family. Gruene is literally right down the road. Can't ask for a better location. Only thing we wish is they would fix the access to river or have a place renters can access the river close to the house. Would definitely stay here again.

Texas Hill Country Paradise

This property was perfect for our group of 9 ages 60-2. There was enough space for everyone to have their own room and bathroom! The kids could play and run around in the front or back yard. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking at the house. The gem of this property is the deck! We spent every evening on the deck watching the sunset and listening to the river. Even though neighbors are close and town is not far, it is very private. There is so much wildlife as well. Things to note: The bed sheets are low quality as is the toiletpaper and paper towels. They don't let you have access to extra paper goods, trash bags, and complimentary cleaning products so we had to buy extras. We probably could have asked them to supply more but chose not to. None of the negatives would prevent me from staying again. This place is special!

Rented the property for my adult kids and grandchildren so we had placed for everyone to stay for awedding.The home is even more beautiful than we expected and there was space for everyone. House is Great but Not Issue Free

This house is perfect for large groups! It’s a fantastic location (very close to all Gruene has to offer). The backyard and view of the river is absolutely amazing! We really did have a blast! That being said, there are issues with hot water in the showers. We could not get hot water in the master or downstairs bathrooms. Strangely, it worked everywhere else (even in the sinks and tubs of the bathrooms where it wasn’t working in the showers). Property company was very responsive and admitted the water can be troublesome in the house. They had us reset the water heater instead of sending someone out to resolve. Their reasoning behind that was it often works and is quicker. It did not work for us. There were 9 of us that had to share one shower. I just want anyone who chooses this property to be aware it could be an issue for them as well. Outside of that, we had a lovely time there.

Nice house

Great location and nice views from the observation deck. There was some wear and tear on the house. Carpet needed to be cleaned in some areas, the master bedroom shower head was broken. and grill was covered with grease and unusable. Overall the house was as advertised and very comfortable for a large group. A very relaxing spot.
