There is a often an audible foghorn, which we personally loved, but a possible consideration for exceptionally light sleepers or those sensitive to noise. Plan to visit again!"

"Overall, it was very homey plus a few surprises like freezies in the ice box and side by side recliner chairs for TV viewing. Great view from the spacious deck. Suggestions would be air conditioning and outside umbrellas for shade. Chipmunks wrestling was entertaining! Would recommend to others."

"Such a special cottage and place. The location couldn’t be more wonderful. Lots to explore, and lots of thoughtful spaces for resting and relaxing. The cottage is comfortable and well-equipped, the host is lovely and helpful, and it’s within easy driving distance of the city and various hiking trails and beaches."

"We enjoyed the place, it has a great location, it is rustic but has ac and washer dryer, close walk to the beach, the only downside was the beds, very uncomfortable, need to be replaced along with the living room furniture. The host was great and even offered us a fresh towels while we were there, the BBQ worked great, lots of propane and utensils, would definitely be back if it had new beds."

"This property was very beautiful as was the hospitality of Magdela. We would highly recommend staying here. The tranquility mixed with solitude was exactly what my wife and I were looking for. Finding so many beach treasures was the biggest highlight for us each. Especially the red and blue seaglass pieces, along with rose , brown , white , aqua, turquoise , and green.
