Secluded Log Cabin Estate | 6 Private Acres | High-Altitude River Views

2027 JUST OPENED! (Sat.-Sat. rentals ONLY from June 19th-Aug. 23rd.)

AN ELEVATED ESCAPE ABOVE THE GALIEN RIVER VALLEY.

Perched high atop a rugged ridge, this one-of-a-kind log cabin sanctuary offers the most dramatic views in Harbor Country. Featured in premier vacation rental magazines, this estate sits on six private, heavily wooded acres with over 500 feet of the Galien River winding through the valley below.

THE "EAGLE’S NEST" PERSPECTIVE
This is the ultimate retreat for those who value privacy and a grand sense of scale.

- The 850-Sq-Ft Deck: Your private observation post. Because the cabin sits high above the river valley, the views are panoramic and unobstructed. It’s the perfect spot for bird watching, stargazing, or simply listening to the wind through the hardwoods.

- The River Experience: While the cabin’s rugged terrain offers stunning views rather than direct water access, the adventure is just minutes away. A short 5-minute drive takes you to local outfitters for kayak and paddleboard rentals, where you can spend the afternoon paddling the very same river that wraps around your retreat.

- Total Seclusion: With six acres of forest, you are immersed in a true "Deep Woods" experience—all while being just five minutes from the conveniences of New Buffalo.

CRAFTSMANSHIP & COMFORT
Spanning 3,000 square feet across three levels, this home avoids the "typical rental feel" with high-end finishes and soulful, lodge-style design.

- Space for Everyone: 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths comfortably accommodate large families or groups (Sleeps 10 adults + 4 kids).

- The Great Room: Vaulted ceilings and a signature fireplace create an authentic, cozy atmosphere for late-spring evenings.

- Dog-Friendly: Your four-legged family members will love exploring the estate (pre-approval and fee apply). This property is dog-friendly. A non-refundable fee ($100) per stay, per dog with a 2 dog max is assessed during the booking process.

THE LOCATION: MINUTES TO THE LAKE
While you’ll feel miles deep in the wilderness, you are only a five-minute drive from:

- The Shoreline: New Buffalo’s soft sand beaches and Lake Michigan sunsets.

- Entertainment: Four Winds Casino, Whittaker Golf Club, and world-class wineries.

- Shopping: Boutique downtown shops across Harbor Country.

PLANNING YOUR STAY

- Flexible Summer Stays: We feature a 5-night minimum during the peak summer season (June 19th – Aug 23rd), offering more flexibility than traditional weekly-only rentals.

- Privacy & Security: For your peace of mind, a security camera monitors the driveway and garage area only. This can be deactivated upon request once you have arrived.

- The Essentials: We provide a high-quality "Starter Kit" (TP, paper towels, trash bags, and hand soap). For larger groups or extended stays, please plan for additional supplies.

- Home Standards: The primary guest must be 30+ years of age. While we are dog-friendly (2 dog max), the home remains strictly smoke-free. No large parties or events are permitted.
