"We were given room keys and when we went into the room, it hadn’t been cleaned. The beds were messed up and trash was still left on the dressers. We immediately went back out to the front desk and Katherine apologized and moved us to a different room. When we went in to that room, it appeared clean but the bathroom sink was full of dirty water. Katherine came in and fixed it immediately. The room itself looked like they did minimal paint and improvements to make it “look” updated. The bathroom...

"The river was the highlight of our stay. Looking out our back window of our room we could see all kinds of birds and geese in the grass field and in the water of the Housitonic River"

"This could be a nice quiet motel if they cleaned it up,having mouse traps and ant traps in the room along with no garbage can ,sheets for curtains and no drinking cups didn’t sit well. The bed had 2 flat pillows and had to drive out for coffee. The only nice thing was the bed was clean at least."

"Easy parking, privacy, nice breakfast… very friendly staff. Clean and spacious grounds. A very nice romantic stay."

"We stayed 3 nights. Room was very comfortable and clean . Staff very helpful and friendly. We didn’t try the free breakfast, dining area looked nice though. Looked like a popular bar/ restaurant adjacent to hotel, we didn’t get to check out this time.My kids loved the outdoor pool, they practically spent the whole day in the pool, it was great in the hot weather, it has nice long hours, from 9am to 9pm . We will definitely stay here again, on our next visit to Danbury."

"Perfect place to stay the night. You can hear the train passing by, but there are ear plugs and a white noise machine in the room. It didn't bother us at all, but it might other folks"
