Beautiful cottage, Super clean with everything you can imagine ! This is our second stay and will return again. It's a real gem with a fantastic host . . Their gated beach is very private and clean .

We love this place

Return guests; we stayed in here in 2021 as our first post-covid summer getaway and returned a few years later! We stay at a ton of vrbos (and similar) and rarely return to the same one twice, so our return is a testament to this great carriage house.Dawn is a meticulous, kind host with great attention to detail. As Bostonians we consider New London a real gem and we prefer it to many MA beach towns for price, accessibility, and laid-backness!

Impeccable Property

Beautiful Carriage house with well-appointed interior. Dawn has thought of every little detail to make uus comfortable. We enoyed the adirondack chairs in the backyard and the private beach just a short walk away. This deserves a galaxy of stars for the rating!

The listing was perfect the place was the cleanist vrbo rental we have ever seen. The recommendations for siteseeing and the restaurants were wonderful great location loved watching the ferries at night out the living room window would rent again. Thanks

Post Covid Anniversary Trip

This is a great property and the Hosts are warm and kind. The location is right across the street from a private beach. And there is a great restaurant about three blocks away on the Waterfront with very good food and customer service. The rooms were spotless and the kitchen well stocked. Loved it.

Wonderful spot by the Sound!

A very comfortable and well-appointed apartment. Everything one needs for cooking in and relaxing. The beach across the street is wonderful for kids who can bury themselves in the sand, boogie board, swim, or look for sea-life. Short rides and walks to the various local attractions and restaurants. Dawn is very helpful with local attractions and things to do.

Fantastic property near the beach

This over-garage apartment was beautifully appointed and incredibly comfortable. Walk out the door and you are at the private beach in less than 2 minutes. Lovely water views from the living room. The host had so many thoughtful extras like beach towels and sand toys, water bottles in the refrigerator, etc. We wojle absolutely recommend.

Very clean. Nice location. Across street from private beach and lighthouse. Gracious and accommodating host. We had a little snafu checking in but owner resolved quickly. If you have difficulty with stairs, this may not be a good choice for you.

Breath of fresh air

This was our 3rd time staying at this wonderful place. Recent renovations were very nice. We had a fantastic time as usual! One of our favorite things to do is sit next to the windows that look out at the ocean, and feel the wonderful breeze. We tried On the Waterfront for the first time and really loved it! Hope we can return to this magical place again in the future. 😊

Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this spacious, updated, well-appointed one bedroom apartment. It is located two house back from the beach. There is a water view of the Fishers Island Sound from the living room. The owner was very responsive and professional in dealing with an unexpected issue. We would heartily recommend this property.

A great place to relax. The carriage house is comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The views are spectacular. You have access to a private beach. Most of the time we were the only people on the beach. The area offers a lot of things to do and some great restaurant's. The owners are very accommodating and really want you to enjoy your stay. Everything You Need

Lighthouse Point Carriage House has great views of the private sandy beach across the street. I packed water shoes as some Connecticut beaches are rocky, but didn't need them. The neighborhood is walkable and there is plenty to do in the area, from Mystic Seaport to a water cruise. The Carriage House is modern, spotless and air-conditioned for a summer visit. The hosts have thoughtfully supplied the house with everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

We loved the carriage house! It was so clean and updated well with a well equipped kitchen and bath. The proximity to the private beach was key. Dawn thought of everything too… even providing beach towels, chairs, umbrella and a cooler. Thank you for a restful couple of nights!
