A lovely place to stay . Had a huge room it was clean and comfortably... my only moan with be the people's in the room next to us had a dog that barked alot at night time ... but thats not the fault of the barn .

Misrepresentation of facilities!

Restaurant closed until further notice! And the "buffet breakfast" was a Croissant with a small snack sized orange juce in the room, not what I expected at all! The staff were superb, the room was OK but basic and dated. I would not have booked if they had disclosed that they had no food, and without warning I had no opportunity to book a table elsewhere. Made do with a day old sandwich from the local convenience store.

Not quite the experience I'd expected. Check in was great but, although large, the room was dark, found crumbs from a previous guest and only a double bed. The bar was open but the restaurant is closed at present, which isn't mentioned in the listing. Check in/evening staff were very friendly, but not so at breakfast. Went to breakfast at 9.30 to be told there were no more croissants - all 25 were gone! Breakfast is from 8.30 until 10.30 and consists of cereal, toast and yoghurt, tea and coffee and if you're lucky, croissants. The building could do with a bit of TLC.

Weekend away

Clean, comfortable and friendly staff tried to help if they could offered a fan due to hot weather. No window netting on windows so couldn't open blinds as people could see in from the function room, so used lights in room to see.However that was not a problem for me happy to do so. Bath with shower works well. Offered chilled water for the room. Has kettle and tea/coffee as well as a microwave. Large room plenty of space. Plenty of plug sockets to charge phones and other devices. Continental breakfast offered and it was lovely. Husband would of prefered weetabix but still like other cereals on offer.

Good value, would recommend

We stayed in the family room which was very spacious and ideal for a family of 4. Check-in was very quick and easy. Breakfast buffet is basic (cereal, toast, juice) but all in all good value for money.

Valentine break

We had a two day stay, my husband and 7 year old daughter. We found the hotel to be good value for money. The hotel is just over a mile from the nearest beach and there is a great area to walk your dog as this hotel is a dog friendly hotel. The staff are super helpful and pleasant. All in all we had a nice break and had a great experience

A nice place !

Good service , a warm welcome. The barn itself is a lovely place to have breakfast or a meal. Room was clean and smart. Only issue was my shower did not appear to work. Otherwise great and good value .

The Barn

Wonderful. We arrived early and they worked hard, to clean our room so we could rest and relax before eating dinner. They went out of their way to make sure the children were rested and entertained.
