"The rooms are somewhat dated; there was no refrigerator or microwave. When I booked the room, it stated free parking, once I got back home I had a $150+ charge for parking. My granddaughter valet parked because she did not know there was a charge. I have stayed at hotels that valet parked and did not charge so I did not think anything of it.I called to inquire about the charge, got a recording, left a message and never heard back. Lesson learned, always ask."

"Good location. Good walking distance to the sites and dining. Before you pay for parking across the street, check-in at the front counter. If you pay for parking with the hotel, you will get a discounted rate. "

"If you like being in the heart of the action then this is the place for you. The hotel is aging and could do with a bit of a refresh in the rooms but overall it’s a great location in the French Quarter. The jazz bar provides you with the chance to experience some amazing jazz music which is surprisingly not as easy to come by as you would think. "

"Great location close to a lot of restaurants and bars. Easy walk to Jackson park and many other place. The property does need to clean there windows but besides that the cleaning service was very good each day. "

"Everything was great except for the motion sensor blue light that's apparently in all rooms. I was told this controls the AC. This light lights up the room at night with the slightest of movement. I can't believe somebody thought this was a brilliant idea. "

"Check-in was a bit off. Was told I had to pay $50 to check in 90min early when there were rooms ready. Found that kind of off putting. Other than. The hotel and stay was great. "
