This charming 3 bedroom home located in Algiers is filled with great character. The second oldest neighborhood in New Orleans and the only Orleans Parish community located on the West Bank of the Mississippi River.
This lovely home is just minutes from Federal City of New Orleans, and The Algiers Ferry which takes you across the Mississippi River and on to Canal St, Harrah's Casino, Bourbon St, French Quarters and into the heart of Downtown!

This home will certainly give you a warm and welcome feeling. Enjoy cooking in the newly remodeled dream kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with basic seasoning, a Keurig and coffee maker, refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, Insignia air fryer, lots of dishes, wine glasses, serving ware, plenty of pots, pans, cooking utensils, and baking ware. Also, a full sized washer and dryer with laundry soap. Open floor plan with a large table seating for 4 and breakfast bar seating for four.
Bedrooms 1 & 2 are furnished and newly painted with smart tv’s and a queen size bed in each room. The master bedroom is furnished and newly painted with a smart tv, and a full size bed. Master bathroom has double sinks, a soaking garden tub with a rainfall shower, walk-in closet, bath towels, and extra bed linen.
The living space is open for families or friends to-gather while watching movies on the flat screen tv. You can enjoy the stereo listening to your favorite music selections while using blue-tooth or your favorite CD's.
This home has central air/heat, off street parking for 2 full size vehicles and a private fenced yard.

Berhman Property

The interior was fabulous with high-end materials and appliances and worth every penny. The host was in contact with us during the stay and very helpful. The location, while in a lower end neighborhood, was quiet and close to all the popular destinations in New Orleans. I’d stay there again.

Lovely home on Homestead

Completely loved our stay at this property! It is even more adorable than the pictures depict! Phyllis was very helpful & friendly, and went out of her way to ensure that our stay was comfortable and pleasant. We were in NOLA for the Sugar Bowl, so were there for NYE, too. The property is an easy Uber or Lyft ride to Bourbon St. it was about $20 for 6 of us, so would be less for fewer people and a non-holiday/event date.

Thanksgiving stay

Very nice property and nice and friendly neighborhood. Covinient for our trips in and out of New Orleans and surrounding area. would be nice if they had a larger grocery store close by. Relaxing with family

This house was amazing! Everything you need is at your fingertips. Phyllis checked in with us upon arrival, making sure we had everything we needed. I felt like I was talking to an old friend! The house was super clean, the beds were VERY comfortable. The location was excellent for us. We did not want to drive in the city, so we parked near the ferry terminal and used RTA. We bought daily passes which got us anywhere we wanted to go. After a day in New Orleans, we could come back to the quiet neighborhood. I would highly recommend this house if you are traveling to New Orleans!!

AWESOME

Don’t hesitate to book. Beautiful property; nice quiet neighborhood, only short drive across river to everything New Orleans. Can’t say enough about the owner Ms Phyllis. She is top notch; awesome host. First night someone hit the fire hydrant resulting in loss of water service. Ms Phyllis went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of during the service disruption. . She provided frequent updates via text and phone calls. Even offered to purchase bottled water as well as get a hotel room for us to shower. All of this to ensure we were comfortable due to an event that was out of her control. She goes above and beyond to make sure guests are comfortable during your stay. We will always check to see if this property is available whenever we visit the city again. Beautiful, comfortable house!!!

This house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable and functional. All amenities are available and useful. there's a utility room with the washing machine/dryer and picnic stuff to use if so desired. The Kitchen is well stocked with all the spices needed to make any Cajun/Creole food possible. There is a tray full of brochures and suggestions for the best restaurants in New Orleans and Algiers as well as all the things you should see and do. We had some family business to attend in Donaldsonville and Darrow and were able to take advantage of touring a plantation and the River Road African American Museum in the area which was very helpful with our family business that we needed to do. It was nice to be able to do the family business an hour away and come back to a peaceful, comfortable and restful place as this home. We had family coming in and out throughout the month of October. We were able to easily house, entertain and tour the area of Algiers, the New Orleans French Quarter and environs. The house is located in an area that is easily accessible for public transportation to the city. We easily made this house a home for the month. We had a wonderful time in this house and it's community.

Excellent home and owner!!

This was our 3rd VRBO rental and it was too of the line. House is beautiful, well supplied, and so welcoming. Beds and pillows were dreamy!! Kitchen fully stocked for any kind of cooking. Fantastic gas grill. 2 patios and seating on front porch. Owner is so very gracious and always accessible. She supplies all kinds of info to help your stay memorable and convenient. LOVED IT! Will rent again!!

The pictures and viewing on the website was as listed. This cute home was everything and more than what we expected for this 3 bedroom 2 bath home. This was a home away from home. If we visit New Orleans again and this property is available, we hope to be able to stay again. The property manager made sure everything was okay from the beginning to the end of our stay. Wonderful host in the Big Easy!

Phyllis was a wonderful host for our 5 night stay in New Orleans. Quick communications and really went beyond to ensure all the things we might need were ready for us - including cooking up our own seafood boil! Short distance to downtown and the french quarter but quiet enough to be away from all the noise (we even took the ferry crossing one time!). We explored the West Bank during our stay and found many amazing sites close-by that suited our needs. Thank you!
