A Complete Scam—Do not book this property!!
If I could give a zero rating, I would. My family and I booked this property and beyond accessing the property with the key entrance and doing a walk-through, we were unable to stay here. The conditions were unsanitary and very misleading from what is described and what is shown in the images. I cannot stress that absolutely NOTHING described is what you will receive or experience with this property. The house is consumed with mold and is extremely unclean. At first glance, you’re quickly able to recognize that the bedding, linens, towels, etc. are simply dirty and nasty. The hood of the stove was full of gunk and mold. There were dishes with old food and mold left on them. The refrigerator was unclean. There were exposed wires and other broken appliances throughout the home. The backyard pictured is misleading. I could go on and on! If I could post actual images, I would share in a heartbeat. I reached out to the host immediately, and he was extremely uncooperative and he even blocked me and my partner’s phone numbers. I contacted VRBO and informed them that my family and I could/would not be staying in those conditions. As a result, I had to book a hotel room for our first night just to have a place to lay our heads that night and luckily we were able to secure another VRBO property for the remainder of our trip to New Orleans. This was a VRBO experience from hell, and I hope that this review saves others from what I’ve had to experience with this booking. Save yourselves!
