Mixed feelings

It was reasonably comfortable. We were a couple and there was mostly only appliances for one person eg. bowl, glasses, cutlery and no can opener. We were expected to wash dishes in the bathroom basin, hardly hygenic. One window wouldn't stay where you opened it to but flew right out. Bed was comfortable, good lighting and it had Sky tv.

Friendly staff. Clean rooms, great location just on the edge of New Plymouth. A supermarket is 15 minutes walk or 2 minutes drive away. Internet drops off a lot unfortunately; OK for emails but not OK when trying to work or for streaming.

Unit generally clean and beds were very comfortable, however units need upgrading as there is evidence of unclean and water damaged areas in bathroom and toilet area. Sofa badly stained and quite uncomfortable. Poor lighting in lounge. The whole complex needs a complete upgrade.

The room was very dated and a bit rough, but it was clean. The manager was very friendly on check in. The rooms aren't serviced. On day 3 we went to the office needing some towels and our rubbish bin was full but it was locked and there was no answer even though it was during open office hours. I then called three times and it went straight to an answer phone that said the mailbox was full. I think people should also be aware that it does seem to have emergency housing families living on site.
