This home is located near a hooters that's on the water with beautiful sunsets. There's also Downtown New Port Richey on Main St. 5 min away, that also has nice restaurants & ice cold drinks! There is also a large park available for kids at any time at Sims Park.

Communication not so good

House was updated and clean. Did have some issues with check in. Did not receive email with info about check in three days ahead of time. I emailed twice and still did not get code or wifi password. Went to house at check in time and could not get in. Did find number and called manager. He did return call and gave us code to door. House needed to be better stocked. Had coffee and filters but no coffee maker. Called on that and was told that someone from office would drop one off. Did not happen all week. Washer dryer in outside building. Was not told it was shared with other two properties which was fine but got little spooked when man was outside back door to do his laundry. Last night there the next renter showed up at 1000 pm thinking he had place for night. (He did have door code) Over all it was ok but did have problems with communication.

Ghosted by owner so disrespectful

We had NO STAY - planned this trip for months - you expect to get to your destination - but then get ghosted and no where to stay! Do not stay here! So disappointed!

Property was occupied and owner tough to get ahold of.

Showed up, property was occupied and owner would not answer phone. Very poor communication. The people that were there said we were the second group to show up at the house that day.

The rental itself is beautiful. The experience with the host was horrible. Family flying in for fathers celebration of life for 2 day stay. Booked month ago. Day of check in still did not have access code. I had been contacting all day. Response received day 2. Unacceptable.

Does not stand behind his commitment

We needed to change the arrival date and sent a request through the VRBO app to request the change. We heard nothing from the host nor VRBO. A week before check in, I sent a message to the host confirming that the change was okay. The host replied in the affirmative. Days before check in, I messaged again with the dates and the check in code. The host confirmed the check in date and gave the code to me. When we arrived at 11 pm, we discovered that the property was occupied and we needed to find other accommodations. The next day, I contacted the host and he denied that he had confirmed the date twice with me. He blamed the VRBO app and would not refund the payment for the stay. I contacted VRBO and they too would not refund the payment, stating that the host was responsible for the scheduling error and his misuse of the app. I gave him two months to reconsider the refund before I provided poor feedback. You can see that feedback on this host suggest that he is a poor communicator. Beware.
