Search B&B in New Quay

"Stayed in New Quay many times but this was our first stay at The Penwig and it didnt disappoint. We booked a sea view room which was lovely as you could sit in the morning and watch the dolphins out in the bay. The room was spacious and spotless. The breakfasts were tasty with a few choices and also catered for vegetarians. The staff were friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble. There is no onsite parking but we used the carpark around the corner. It does get a bit noisey early in the am with deliveries to the pub and surrounding businesses etc but it wouldnt deter us in staying again."

"As a solo traveler on a motorcycle, i was influenced to book four seasons as they had private parking in the courtyard. When i arrived it was full with cars but the lady on reception advised me where was best to park my motorcycle overnight."

"Just what we wanted! Onsite parking and electric charging. A well fitted room with a great bed and a lovely large shower. Fridge and microwave made the stay very easy. The rooms are well sited near the restaurant and shops"

"Very easy on-line check-in. Room was clean and comfortable, probably the only criticism would be that the tv needed to be a bit bigger. "

"Lovely well-positioned hotel on the sea front. Friendly staff and good choice of food for breakfast which was cooked to order. Had an evening meal too which was also very good. Downside is there is no lift so climbing up to the second floor was an effort (we are in our 70's) but we did know this before we arrived so can't complain."

"The chap who was on reception during our stay (Abdallah - apologies if I've misremembered, or misspelt, his name) was welcoming, helpful, pleasant and friendly. The room was very comfortable, and the presence of a fridge was very welcome, as was access to the kitchen downstairs. In the bathroom, the shower was great, but the toilet was a little bit tall/raised up, making it a bit awkward to sit on, and the seat wouldn't stay up on its own and had to be held in place in case it fell back down. The coffee and cake in the cafe downstairs were lovely and reasonably priced. Some of the carpet on the stairs was a little worn and, while it wasn't a problem for us, it could be a potential safety issue if it's not replaced/repaired soon. Overall, an enjoyable stay."
