The owner is super easy to work with and very accommodating. The fresh fruit and water is a nice touch. The apartment is in a great location to get to Manhattan . Overall a great value. The apartment was very clean and everything in excellent shape.

A well maintained clean apartment with all the mod cons for a very enjoyable home from home stay.
Mr Barnes was exceptional with his replies to my emails.He contacted me almost straight away to answer any question or queries i had. The apt was perfect and exactly as described and shown on the web site.The neighbours around the apt were friendly and polite which added to the experience. The apt was a good 10 minute walk to Nostrand underground station. If you get the express train (A) you can be in Manhattan in around 20 mins. then of course you need to get to other areas such as Times Square another 20 mins or so. Bedford Stuyvesant where the apt is located is not exactly a hive of bars and restaurants. There are a few, and nice ones in a walk-able distance though.The area from the station to the apt is a complete contrast to Manhattan, and although we never at anytime felt intimidated, it did lend weight to being looked upon as a slightly lower graded area to live in. Our Time in New York was exceptional and for those who have not been its a must. After a very hectic day of site seeing it was always nice to know you could return to the apt to relax and get a very warm welcomed rest and very quiet nights sleep.There are lots of deli's, takeaways off licence type shops around the apt, so if you like to eat in on a night there are lots to choose from.Brooklyn Heights and the area DUMBO are just 15 mins on the train away. You will find a much larger choice of eateries or bars there plus the added luxury of the view over the skyline of lower Manhattan. If we were to visit the delights of NY again then I would 100% Stay in Mr Barnes' Apt

Great place for a long weekend in NY
We have enjoyed our long weekend in this beautiful apartment, well equipped and very clean. We were 2 couple and 3 kids, so been close to subways and bus stop was definitely a plus. Space was a little tight but it was enough for the time we spent inside and we had 23 bedrooms for a very reasonable price. We will recommend the apartment to anybody who wants to visit New York.

Girls Weekend Stay
We loved this apartment! It was the perfect size for our girl's weekend. With the 5 of us, there was enough room for sleeping and lounging. The water and fruit that Vinneth provided was very much appreciated! There was some street noise during the night but with earbuds, you can block it out. You'll want to contact Vinneth before getting here to double check the number on the door. The Subway has 2 lines that are close by - maybe 10-12 minute walk. It took us about 45-60 minutes to reach Times Square with no delays. Travel Tip: if you are staying more than 3 days and are planning to travel to Manhattan - buy the 7 day unlimited MetroCard! We would definitely stay here again!!

Nice apt, far away
The apt was beautiful, just as pictured. However one bedroom does not have a closet. As previously reviewed, there is an air con in every room but the one is the small room doesn’t blow any air. One of the queen beds was very comfortable, the other (front bedroom) felt like sleeping on plywood. We needed up sleeping on the couch instead. The amenities are great, Vinneth is very nice and easy to work with. The price accurately reflects the inconveniences if staying here. Previously, someone said it was close to the subway? No! It’s close to 10 blocks from the subway. It’s not super close to food or nightlife but it’s walkable. Overall, I think binneth was great and the apartment is what it looks like. However, I wouldn’t stay here again because of the long walking and commuting to get to basic transportation.

Convenient location. Very clean. Perfect place for small family to stay.
Vinneth was very nice and left us fresh fruit and water. Everything we needed was here. It's located about 10 minutes from the A and C train which takes you right to Manhattan. Several nice little coffee shops around the area and good food is just a few blocks away in about any direction. Apartment was clean and was perfect stay for 4 adults. I would definitely stay here again. And recommend it to others.

wonderful place!
we had a wonderful stay. Vinneth has a beautiful apartment and is very well maintained. very close to the subway. well connected to local restaurants and stores. all the bedrooms has clean and fresh linen. the air conditioning was very good as well especially since it was too hot during our visit. thank You for the complimentary fruits and water. we surely would be back and also recommend others to book this place.

Vinneth's apartment was absolutely amazing. Extremely clean, everything felt brand new and barely used, comfortable beds and lots of clean towels. We even found fresh ice cubes had been set in the freezer! Her communication was really good whenever we needed assistance and she was very accommodating to our needs. I loved this apartment and so did my friends. Although the communal area is not that big we felt like the size of the apartment was fine for 5 women. Loved bedstuy- lots of great places to eat, close to various subway stations and lots of shops. I would recommend this property to everyone and hopefully I am able to stay again. I miss it already :( the WiFi can be a little hit and miss but it does work and i flagged this to Vinneth who is looking into it so all in all it was as close to perfect as I could have asked for! X

This apt ticks an awful lot of boxes What clinched it for us was two things mainly Location 20 mins from Manhattan and close to subway and LIRR (albeit a reasonable 17 dollar cab ride puts you from your door into Manhattan or the other way around) And being able to get 3 bedrooms at a reasonable rate was the other sealant on the deal The area around it has plenty shops,supermarkets etc so you can get all the nessacaries within close range Nostrand Ave just a minute walk off the apt has a great lively vibe to it , always plenty life and something happening around the area The apt itself when we arrived is very well equipped and spotlessly clean,beds are comfortable and plenty storage space in the bedrooms for clothes and luggage etc. Air con in every room as well Overall general communal space might be a little tight for 4 people but then you're not going to New York to look at 4 walls and a ceiling all day It's plenty adequate for a quick breakfast and or light dinner if you're so inclined We would have no problem recommending this apt and we would ourselves stay here again should we ever re visit New York

Excellent 3 bedroom property located close to subway, shops and restaurants
Really nice apartment which was beautifully presented and well equipped and tastefully decorated. The owner Vinneth was a pleasure to deal with and was quick and efficient in dealing with any queries we had. The apartment throughout was spotlessly clean and well equipped and we were met with a welcome pack on arrival. This was our first time renting a property like this in New York and we found it an excellent choice. The apartment is very well located in Brooklyn close to the subway making access in and out of Manhattan easy. We would highly recommend and would be happy to use this apartment again.

Die Wohnung hat eine gute Lage und ist mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Ideal für eine Familie wie uns mit 4 Personen. Die Subway Linie A ist in 15 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar und fährt direkt nach Manhatten. Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen und können die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen! Exciting days in NY - Brooklyn in a wonderful apartement
The apartment was close to underground stations, easy to walk. Round the corner there are lots of shops for food for whatever we needed and lots of restaurants, serving international dishes for every taste - we loved it. The check in was well organized and easy. Vinneth was very helpful with informations about the area, shopping and restaurants, underground. She brought us delicious fresh fruits,- thanks again to Vinneth. The apartement was very clean and tidy. The kitchen is new and offered all dishes we needed for breakfast and cooking. The beds are very comfortable, all rooms are furnished nice and modern. We always enjoyed comming back to the apartment, we felt "at home".

Eine saubere kleine Wohnung in der Nähe der U Bahn
Die Wohnung hat 3 wirklich kleine Zimmer , ein sehr kleines Bad, kleines Wohnzimmer mit einer top Küche . Wir waren 4 Personen und empfanden es sehr eng, da wir aber nur zum schlafen in der Wohnung waren , war das ok ! Alles war sauber und top ausgestattet. Die U Bahn Linien blau und Express waren 4/11 Blocks entfernt . Viele kleine Läden zum Essen und shoppen in der Nähe . Wir haben uns dort sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt und hatten eine tolle Zeit .Umgebung ist sicher ! Auto brauch man keins , Parkplätze waren vorhanden vor der Tür tageweise ( eine Straßenseite ist Mo und Do gesperrt von 9-10:30 und die andere dienstags und freitags ) also man muss etwas aufpassen aber war alles kein Problem ! Achtung : nicht vor einem Hydranten parken !! Wir können die Whg wärmstens empfehlen und würden sie auch nochmal buchen ,wenn wir weniger Leute wären Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundlichkeit und liebe Grüße von den 4 german Guys :-)
