Very cozy room, updated appliances, and very modern feel. The check-in process was effortless, Daniel was extremely helpful and welcoming throughout the whole process. Mostly enjoyed how quiet the location was. All in all, great experience, would definitely recommend to anyone.

I really loved this place! Our room had a view of the castle across the street… it was sooo close to everything!! The square was moments away… so many places to eat and close to all the historic spots of the town… I love Newark and will absolutely stay at castle gate 31 again on my next trip to town… Daniel was very quick to respond to some last Minute questions a out the space and local needs … thanks for great trip to Newark!!

This was a wonderful stay. The property was beautifully done with such gorgeous touches, Including the fresh loaf of bread and homemade granola! The grounds were stunning, and I love wildlife photography so was a real haven for me with a real focus to everything being wildlife friendly and eco friendly! Both Chris and Yolanda were so friendly and welcoming. Despite their packed schedule running both a pub and a b&b, they were always cheerful and kind. Parking was free and easy. The room was spacious and comfortable. The fruity shampoo and body shower gel were so fragrant. Breakfast was delicious! And Chris was kind enough to show us a few magic tricks during our breakfast time. It was simply magical. Wishing both Chris and Yolanda a relaxing and wonderful holiday vacation to US next year.
