This was my first time traveling to this area. I really like that I was able to get my own key and I could do everything online. Room was clean. Area was quiet. Close to attractions we wanted to see. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Our room was super clean, all the amenities were everything we needed, cold refrigerator. We parked right at our door. The grounds were well maintained. The best thing was we got to have our dog stay with us! Will recommend this place to friends and family for great UP stay!

Bought a room for my mom's 65th Birthday. It was perfect. Easy entry, clean, warm welcoming rooms, all one level, and quiet. It's only a few miles from downtown Newberry and has gas stations down the street. The beds were comfy and had great sleep. I picked this location since it's pretty center of the UP for all the main things to do. Whitefish, Tahquamenon falls, Mackinaw Island . Peaceful, quiet, and clean

Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Although I missed having an actual person in the office to check us in, they made the contact-free check-in easy with clear text communications. The office was very clean and attractive, with clear signs to help with check in and any other needs

Cute little motel that is older but nice. Nothing fancy but very clean, efficient and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again if we ever get back to that area. I loved that the upright freezer in the lobby had small buckets of ice ready to use. Also a jar of dog treats for furry friends, although we did not have a pet with us. Just a nice touch that was sweet.

it was very clean -I would stay there again and next time would probably make it My homebase -parking was super easy, check-in was flawless- and it was very clean but there were dead bugs in the bathroom- this isn’t unusual for upper Mi- I only mentioned it for out of state travelers / very pet friendly and we will stay again. !!

Good size room, huge bed but it was hard as a rock. Amenities were nice for the price, check in was easy. Nice rainfall shower head. Toilet sat extremely low. If the bed had been more comfortable, would stay there again.

It is always hit or miss when traveling to remote places of the UP, this was a hit! Very easy to access your room through the automated system in the office, directions and information was all provided. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and location was just outside of Newberry (7min drive to downtown). Additionally, it being a roadside motel, it was awfully quiet, not much road noise or noise from other guests, and it was quite full. Overall it was a reliable stay, would definitely come back!
