"This was a great hotel in a convenient location to the downtown area. Very walkable for all of our activities. Spa services were a plus. Breakfast was well prepared and good value for money. My only down-check would be that rooms have not been upgraded with USB charging receptacles. Would def stay here again."

"If you have the chance to stay here while in Westport do so but book early. The Upper Rideau Bed & Breakast is a real gem! The Hosts Donna and Keith are wonderful people and prepare an amazing breakfast like no other that we’ve ever tasted. The attention to details to make our stay comfortable in the room with the luxurious king size bed, beautiful decor and incredible view made it a memorable experience. Cannot forget the little pup Lucy. She’s so sweet. We will certainly stay again."

"This is a difficult review to write, and I needed to wait a while after my stay to make sure it was fair to the owners. Let me say, that for a cozy cabin get-away, without having to get away, a weekend to unplug from your devices and enjoy the wildlife and nature and a short trip to Westport than this is your listing. Unfortunately, the pictures of the property are, in my opinion, rather dishonest. The first few pictures are not even of the cabin we stayed in. Other pictures do not accurately depict how small the space actually is, and even has pictures of what I assume is the property owners house. If you quickly browse the listing like I did, you will be dissapointed. But if you read through the lengthy description of the property details it is not like they tried to hide anything, but I need to dock points on accuracy of the listing for the pictures, making the space appear larger.During our stay our internet was spotty, you could use it to view E-mails but videos would be a challange. Property owners were VERY NICE. 2 cats and a dog on the property were also very friendly."

"We had a lovely stay at The Tay Inn. The beds and pillows were comfy, the room was clean and well stocked with towels. I especially liked that the toilet and tub had hand rails for those who might need them. The room was well equipped with the usual necessities, microwave, tv, wee fridge, wifi, and ac. The gentleman I dealt with was lovely, and for our needs it's a great location. The room rate is also very budget friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it."

Morning Glory on the Lake: Escape to Serenity

"It was a very nice cozy little cottage, just right for 2 people. The area was beautiful. The only down fall was that we found we had to do alot of driving to get tim Hortons or groceries. Other than that it was great! Water was super clear as well. We caught a ton of fish which was great! I would suggest removing the hot tub, as although it wasnt listed in the amenities, the picture led us to believe we would have use of it, my bad. Lol very minimal requests for departure other than to run the dishwasher! Everything we needed was there. Host was very quick to respond. Thank you for our honeymoon escapeJen and Jim"
Relax on Benson Lake, Rideau System

"We spent an entire week of fishing here at this property. All 4 guys had a great time. The large boat dock easily accommodated two bass boats. Host was very kind and accomodating to our needs. Property was clean. The boat access, only 100 yards away, made it very convenient. I would definately recommend this property."
