"From the moment I arrived, the manager warmly welcomed me and personally guided me to my room, making me feel at ease. Check-in was seamless, and I truly appreciated how spotless everything was, with all the essentials readily available. The bathroom and shower were spacious, offering plenty of room to relax. The kitchenette was well-equipped with all necessary appliances and utensils—though I didn’t realize the glasses, cups, and plates were tucked away in the cabinet at first. Despite visiting during a rainy period, I could tell the walk into town would have been convenient and enjoyable in better weather. Although, I was the one who forgot to pack my lotion, it would have been nice to have lotion in one of the containers in the bathroom. Overall, I’m extremely pleased with my stay."

"Black Forest Cabins were beautiful! The decor inside the cabin was adorable. It was spacious and clean. I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the bathroom- bigger than expected. The cabins are located within walking distance to restaurants, cafes, shopping, the ocean, and walking trails. I would recommend staying here!"

"The room was perfectly clean and exactly as pictured. Although the hotel was full with a youth sports team and parents, the room was quiet. The front desk was efficient and friendly at check in and checkout. I look forward to my next stay."

"Facility is right on the Bay - excellent view - Bluenose is docked next door as is the Fisherman’s Museum. Parking is a problem - need to arrive early ( well before 10.00 AM ) to secure a metered spot. Free parking in the downtown is practically non existence. Lots of good restaurants in town "
