Hotel in stunning grounds. Spacious, staff very welcoming and helpful. Food very good and nice to have a choice for breakfast and cheaper option than full english breakfast. Very good value for money.

This property has seen better days. It clearly needs a more permanent workforce although the staff could not have been more helpful and deserve full marks . Small things need fixing and attending to therefore it needs a good in-house accommodation manager to supervise and of course money spent. Food was good and again could not be criticized. Not however Cordon-Bleu. Beautiful surroundings and obviously popular with the Golfers. With additional financial input and better managed it could be a tremendous successful venture.

We loved the older Country Club charm. It was beautiful to look out at the water from our room and walk to the castle ruins. The dining is charming as well! Great spot for quietness. We will come back!

The rooms certainly need an upgrade, and perhaps facilities for a late night drink and something to eat. But the grounds are lovely and it’s walkable from most big tourist areas.

Very pleasant overnight stay. Excellent food and service from friendly staff. Attractive setting. Spacious room with comfortable bed. Warm despite the cold weather. Pleasant short walk to Donnington Castle with superb views over surrounding countryside. Decor and fittings in the room looking tired but generally clean.
