This roadside pub with inn above was so convenient for my stopover to Highclere Castle, it’s a shame I didn't have more time there. The staff is friendly, the room is comfortable and quiet, the shower has great water pressure.

Staying at Ye Olde Red Lion was a fun experience. It is probably the most unique place I've stayed with its blending of old, old and new and updated rooms. I would stay here again. We were in Arran Room which was very nice other than the mattress should be replaced. It is uncomfortable. The outside grounds need some cleaning and TLC, too. (There had just been a big storm/rain which might account for some of the mess and debris around the grounds.) Overall, an interesting stay with great...

Loved our stay at the Crab & Boar, a quintessential English country inn. The staff is friendly, easygoing, quite helpful and even went above and beyond for us. Dave and Tammy were fantastic. Visited in from the states first time in Newbury UK and if I were to come back, I would come back to this hotel every single time the beds were amazing. The staff was wonderful and it is just a hop away from local shopping and a beautiful park 10 out of 1000 would definitely stay here again!!!!!
