A couple of recommendations to the host - a few coat hooks behind the front door would be very welcome, and some more hangers in each of the wardrobes. "I was not able to receive the check-in instructions so the day of I was panicked about how I would gain access to the house and the communication with the host and property manager was strained. Once we arrived at the property it was lovely and as described. It a cute, lovely neighborhood location with a delicious pub right across the street!"

Private, quiet, beautiful, unique and the grounds/garden/stream was magical and we were greeted by a small deer! Serena is very friendly and helpful even when calling her after 10pm for help. "My second time renting this property as it is quite close to my Oxford family member’s flat and very convenient to the grocery and all of the city as well. To improve comfort the living area needs more comfortable seating with foot rests. The provided towels did not include wash cloths this time which would be helpful. But we made do and enjoyed the stay. It’s a nicely appointed property and I look forward to staying there again."

"Location was great and right in the centre of Newbury. Apartment was equipped with everything needed for a stay away from home. The room was uncomfortably hot and the small amount the windows opened and fan were no use. Our shower was totally blocked but it was sorted. Cleanliness of the apartment was not to my standard. "

"Clean and comfortable, but would benefit from refurbishment! If flat is on the front of the building, there’s a lot of noise and light from the street, at all hours! There are no blackout blinds, so bring an eye mask! Double glazing reduces the noise, but you’ll need ear plugs if sleeping with windows open. The hot water cylinder only heats up at night, so it’s not unusual to have no hot water in the evenings!"
