I chose this spot for its proximity to Slieve Donard, it was so close.. way closer than I expected. I loved the location and how it’s nestled off to the side but still in town so you can walk. You are right on the water and there are paths everywhere to get you where you want to go.

Beautiful hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with alot of choice. I would have given 5 stars but we had to ask for essential toiletries ,extra robe and unfortunately there was no acknowledgement of a big birthday celebration ! Truly an exceptional hotel. I grew up in the area and it has continued its history of providing an experience that excels (locals just call it “The Slieve”). The amenities are fantastic with the spa facilities, snooker room, drawing room for a peaceful morning. Breakfast in the main dining area with views of the Mounre Mountains is an experience itself.
