Hotel is a bit dated but all clean which is the main thing. Quick one night stay. Arrived late and checked out early due to our plans so can’t comment on much tbh. Hotel was quiet so got a decent nights sleep

The hotel was fine, friendly staff and delicious meals. I personally had problems with the lights going off and they were not responded to immediately because the man that does only arrived on my final morning. I would recommend it.

Although the hotel would benefit from some updating it was really clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast and an evening meal plus bar drinks and it was extremely good value for money. The meals were all home cooked and delicious.

The good thing about the hotel is the free onsite parking and its location . It was within walking distance of both The Rigger and the New Vic theatre, both places I was visiting during my stay . So for convenience it is hard to beat. That said, it’s certainly seen better days and the rooms are dated , not the end of the world for the price . However it definitely could have been a lot cleaner . Both the carpet and chair in my room were heavily stained . The bathroom was small , could do with a refresh , the toilet seat didn’t fit the toilet properly - but the shower was warm . It was considerably cheaper than other options I looked & it does seem you get what you pay for, which I accept and as such didn’t complain at the time . It suited me for this visit due to the location which was the main consideration for me this time around , however I wouldn’t stay here again.

Only stayed the one night having stayed in Newcastle before it is in the good location however the hotel itself is quite dated now and probably need of a refurb the car park is very small for the size of the hotel. Staff are very attentive and friendly.
