Garden with garden furniture (shared with other properties on-site). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. . Roxy’s is a beautifully presented cottage for two set in the countryside with friendly local amenities and excellent, world-famous attractions to help make your stay a memorable one. This cottage is perfect for couples or a romantic getaway. Entering the cottage you will find yourself in the hallway where you can hang your coats and leave your walking boots. Head into the light and airy, open plan living, kitchen and dining area which has a comfortable sofa and large pouffe, perfect for settling into as you watch your favourite film on the Smart TV. There’s also a bedroom wth a kingsize bed and a spacious bathroom. Outside, there is a shared paved area with bench-style seating.
There is a lovely tea room on site serving food and drink everyday and a complimentary pass to Beamish, the open air museum, not to be missed. There is also a large, open woodland picnic area right next door which is perfect for some al fresco dining, along with a selection of country walking and cycling trails nearby. You can walk down to Causey Arch, the world’s oldest single-arch bridge and even take a trip on the oldest existing steam train in the world at the local Tanfield railway.
