Great location for the hotel , right next to the Tyne bridge, hotel was easy to find but the car park was tight if you had a big car - only negative I have to say is that the car park was an extra £15’, room was clean and modern and large . The reception when you walk in is stunning and the breakfast the next day was really tasty and plentiful

I enjoyed using the heated pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Swimsuit wet bag and dryer/spinner were available in the changing room. It is the small details of service and convenience that makes Hilton a good hotel brand. Breakfast was great. I paid 16 pounds for myself and 2 teens. ( I wonder if it was free for children). Breakfast was buffet style, high standard. You can order fresh orange jucie, waffles, pancakes, poached eggs from the waiters. The room was in good size and clean. One note the smell of bleach is noticeable in the bathroom as well as in the pool area. Although it gave me the confidence of the cleaniness of the area, it is uncommon for me to notice bleach in a hotel.

Everything was perfect from walking into reception. The staff were not just professional but very warm and friendly, making you feel welcome. The bar and restaurant were easy and the food and drinks were stunning, also amazing views of the Tyne Bridge. Rooms were spacious, well laid out and perfectly cleaned. I would’ve liked a fridge for our drinks but it didn’t affect our stay, the bar provided us with a large ice bucket full. The whole hotel even smelled amazing which may be a small detail but makes a large impact. Looking forward to staying again!
