Modern Hotel, staff very friendly, room comfortable. Breakfast good, evening meal not in restaurant, but bar meal. However there were plenty of tables at which to sit, and the meals were good and very reasonable. Car parking was good although difficult when exiting onto a very busy road. Would stay there again.

Convenient location, hotel room was very cold, we attempted to increase the temperature but it didn’t seem to make any difference. Pillows were a little flat although the bed was comfortable. Plug socket didn’t work so my watch wasn’t charged, fortunately the other sockets did work so managed to charge it before we left. Room was a bit dusty in the corners and looked a bit unloved. Clean bathroom and good parking.

Very nice buffet breakfast and serving staff were attentive. Other facilities adequate although we were disappointed that the restaurant was closed for dinner during the week. The only on-site option was the sports bar with loud sporting events playing on multiple large screens. Not the venue we had hoped to find for a quiet family dinner. The problem was compounded by the fact that on a Monday night, many local establishments were closed. On the plus side, we eventually found an excellent Turkish restaurant a short walk away.

We stayed for a week. The staff was very helpful, breakfast was awesome and it was a good experience. The room was very decent size. The only thing that I didn’t like the lighting in the room and the carpet was very dull coloured. There was an old stale smell consistent with old properties. Some modernisation will be making it perfect.

The hotel is in a great location (less than two mins from Jesmond Metro) and my room was spotlessly clean. Staff were very helpful; in particular, James (Front of House Manager) who went above and beyond checking me in to Holiday Inn, as I’d spent the previous night at 91 Aparthotel where there were cleanliness issues.
