One of the nicest property's we have stayed, milk and fresh eggs for us on arrival. Property well equipped, the outside is ideal for our dog, that was the second visit this year for us good location and so quiet, ideal for visiting the surrounding area including Mallards Pike which has many lovely walks, Taurus crafts is also worth a visit, Wobage Farm Craft Workshops near Ross on Wye the craftsmanship of the local Makers was worth the visit.
We stayed over New Year to be near family in Bristol and Wales. This property was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Beds in particular were excellent. Lovely touches from the hosts with welcome pack and comprehensive visitors guide. Weather was awful as it was in the whole of U.K. during our stay and that didn’t help with the approach roads to the property which were very potholed and narrow. Hopefully, these will be sorted by the summer as this would be a great location with lots to see and do in the area.

The super king bed was very comfortable and we loved the homemade lemon cake and the local eggs that were on the table for us when we arrived. One minor quibble is that there was no shaver socket or light above the bathroom mirror, so we couldn’t charge our electric toothbrush there.

The Cottage is lovely, the road is horrendous one way but not too horrendous to the left.
The Cottage is lovely, the road is horrendous one way but not too horrendous to the left. Good light and comfortable and fabulous views. Fully enclosed front gravel drive/garden. Paddock 1 minute away good for dog running for our young dog but a bit steep for our 18yr old fella. Very peaceful and private. Welcome cake was wonderful according to my wife as I'm gluten and dairy free.. lovely to have eggs and tradional bottle of milk. As usual fabulous walks in the forest.. Mallard Pike lake remains our favourite and only 20 mins away. Beechenhurst 25 and a great walking place too.. deer and boar sightings at both. Gloucester 20 mins drive and full of historical interest and of course lots of shops. Only one thing is the stairs are very wide and personally having a pain condition would have benefited from a second hand rail. But that's just me.
