Close walk to beach, good food and coffee. Room was clean, but older hotel. They provide beach towels which was nice and beach cruiser bikes on site to rent. Older bikes but function well and very affordable to rent all day.

What a find!! Super nice staff who thought of everything you need to take to the beach. Location couldn’t be better to have a short 5 minute walk to the beach. Room was clean and had a mini fridge and table along with the 2 queen beds.

Have been coming to Newport Channel Inn for 12 years. It is our go-to motel for our beach staycays. The rooms have been updated. Clean. Lots of towels. Bed comfy. Staff is very friendly. Air conditioning worked great. You get a parking pass for your stay so parking is great.

The location was great if you want to be near the beach. A couple of good restaurants nearby. There was 1 bar within walking distance, but it closes at 2 in the afternoon. I would prefer to have more to do within walking distance as parking in the area is expensive and hard to find.

This place is great. We stay once a year. It's across PCH from the beach! It's small and quaint. It is really clean and well maintained. The staff is helpful and nice. It is quiet and convenient. 2 miles from Daveys Locker where we go out on a fishing boat. Recommend!

We had a 3 night stay with 2 rooms. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were good nothing special about them. The showers were a little dated but for being tile they were pretty clean. No charge for parking and they have beach stuff available to use at no cost (chairs, towels and bodyboards).
