Summary:
Right above the energy of Broadway, these two separate apartments offer a shared Newport experience with room for up to eight guests across two full floors. Each unit includes two queen bedrooms, a full kitchen, and its own distinct sense of character—from original artwork to checkered floors and retro finishes. Perfect for groups who want to stay together while still enjoying their own space, all in one of the city’s most walkable, vibrant neighborhoods.
The Space:
On the second floor, the living area is anchored by a large mixed-media mural, with a spacious layout and comfortable seating. Upstairs, the third floor brings a pop of vintage personality with a cherry-red fridge and checkerboard kitchen floors. Both apartments include full dining setups, smart TVs, and high-speed Wi-Fi, and each has its own bathroom—one with a shower-tub combo, the other with a walk-in shower.
All four bedrooms include queen beds, blackout curtains, and natural light, with bay window sitting areas in two of the rooms. Each unit is equipped with mini-split A/C, and essentials are provided throughout to make your stay seamless and well-appointed from arrival.
From this address, you're right in the heart of one of Newport’s most vibrant districts. Broadway is lined with locally loved cafés, boutiques, live music venues, and award-winning restaurants. Stroll down to Bowen’s Wharf for harbor views, hop between galleries and independent shops downtown, or spend an afternoon exploring nearby Cliff Walk and historic mansions. City views from the upper floor offer a rooftop glimpse of the neighborhood’s charm, day or night.
Guests should note that Brewer’s Loft, the restaurant on the ground floor, adds energy and atmosphere to the building and may host live music depending on the evening. It’s a favorite among locals and visitors alike, and being this close is part of the experience.
Guest Access:
Enjoy full private access to both apartments. One apartment is on the second floor and one apartment is on the 3rd floor of the building. We have everything you need for a seamless and enjoyable stay. Guests should be aware that a popular restaurant occupies the ground floor of the building. While it adds to the lively character of the location, some noise may carry into the apartment, especially during peak hours. This may not be the best fit for those seeking a particularly quiet stay.
The Neighborhood:
Aquidneck Island is a coastal enclave known for its scenic charm, historic character, and approachable scale. With most streets limited to 25 mph, the island maintains a calm, family-friendly atmosphere that encourages unhurried exploration. Its intimate size makes it easy to navigate, offering a quiet rhythm that reflects the essence of seaside New England.
Getting Around:
Getting around is easy and enjoyable. Most of our homes are located in residential areas where you can walk, bike, ride a scooter, or rent a golf cart to explore. The islands are relatively small, and with a 25 mph speed limit on most streets, the area stays safe, family-friendly, and relaxed.
Other Things to Note:
We provide dedicated parking for up to 4 vehicles in the parking lot at the rear of the building. Only park in the spots marked with Brewer‘s Loft Units 1 and 2 signs. Please note that parking on the street is not permitted and subject to ticketing and towing. To avoid any issues, kindly use only the parking lot and limit to 2 vehicles.
Interaction with Guests:
We live right down the street! Please do not hesitate to give us a call or text if you need anything. Otherwise, we like to give our guests their own space to relax and enjoy their stay.
