Disappointing
We arrived in the evening. In the dark, it is impossible to find the hotel. There are no signs any where that we could see. When we arrived, the bed for the children wasn’t made up and there wasn’t any bedding. Eventually, someone arrived with bedding. The room was boiling hot with no air conditioning or fans available! It’s a shame because it is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. The breakfast is wonderful!

The building, rooms and surrounding gardens were amazing, signposting to the actual hotel could be better. Food was very canteen style, luke warm and expensive for what it was. As usual these days, housekeeping is at request however, I asked that our consumables be replenished for day three on leaving on the morning, returning after midnight to find nothing replaced.

Wow, what a venue. The hall is a beautiful old building and the grounds were so well kept. We enjoyed a really lovely walk in the morning around the grounds. The room was spacious and clean and we will definitely be visting again.

The gardens around hotel are outstanding as are the sports facilities meeting with some disabled kids doing sport was very uplifting as was the british legion battle back centre What we didnt like rooms not cleaned bar not open when said the breakfast was cafeteria so had to clear own table also on first day juice friut all empty not refilled for some time Hotel is short staffed we where tod
