Happy Beachers

This was our 2nd stay and is the absolute best way to enjoy the beach. The view is spectacular (rain or shine); gorgeous house and the owner is a dream to do business with.

Wonderful get away with Beach Front Access

Wonderful stay at a beautiful home on the coast

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and well-appointed property in Newport. It worked out perfectly for hosting both my younger and grown children and their partners along with my husband and I —there was plenty of space for everyone to relax and take in the gorgeous views from many of the rooms.Next time, I’ll encourage the family to rent the adjacent house as well—having both would make for an even more ideal setup. The neighboring guests were great, and everyone seemed respectful of the house rules and quiet hours. Appreciated the quiet very much!We enjoyed all of the outdoor amenities (except the fire pit—next time!) and loved the easy beach access and excellent location.10/10 would absolutely stay again!

Another fabulous week

The property is awesome great ocean views and coastal breeze. Lots of room for the whole family. Soaking tubs are a big hit.already booked for next year. Very clean and great property manager

Best stay in Lincoln City

This place is amazing! Best place to stay if you are looking for relaxation! The hot tub is great but the soaking tubs are what this house is all about. Couldn't have had a better weekend!

Just gorgeous

This house could not be in a more beautiful setting. We were lucky that the weather for January in Oregon was mid-fifties and sunny which just added to the wonderful time we had. Richard was very responsive and easy to work with. The house is very well maintained and well appointed. We had a great time and really appreciate the property that Richard has. Thank you!

Beachfront living

House was better than expected! Kitchen was well equipped. Home was very clean. Views were expansive. Neighbors were close yet it was very private. Perfect for our family get away!

Had everything we needed!

Wonderful spot. Beautiful view of the ocean. Close to Nye Beach and the Newport bayfront. We were able to cook breakfast for everyone with very little planning, because the kitchen has everything needed cookware-wise, plus spices and condiments left by previous guests. Fire pit hot tub and bathrooms were all great. Spaces to gather including out on the deck, in the family room and at large dining table. Plus great sunsets and tide watching.

Marvelous spot

This was our second visit so obviously we like this house. It accommodates our extended family of 10 beautifully. This year a few issues needed attention and the owner was very responsive. We will return though not until 2025 because of a European vacation plan for 2024.

Heaven on earth!!

I would love to buy this property and live there full time! Recent improvements are spot on. It truly is a fabulously laid out home where you can be together without being on top of each other. Perfection! I have stayed there before and certainly will again. I have recommended it to my neighbor as well!

Birthday Weekend

Great house, due to a family emergency we had to leave early. The only recommendation is that the TVs in the bedrooms need to be checked, I believe that they could use some batteries in the remotes and the TVs need to be updated.

Excellent Oceanfront Vac Home

Girls only family of 10 stayed for 4 nights in this wonderful home in July 2023. We used every bit of the unique extras this home had to offer: large fire pit, sky chairs, spa, two bath tubs in decking were amazing! It had two large walk-in showers and an inside 4 claw bathtub as well. Richard was quickly assessible to answer any and all of our questions about the home and the area. Great for a group!

Totally unobstructed view of the ocean with only a short walk to steps to the beach. Interesting short walk to Nye Beach through old neighborhoods. Restuarants within walking distance. Large open space for gathering indoors. Large patio and deck area with fire pit, outdoor seating and a hot tub. Newly remodeled bathrooms with walk-in showers. Kitchen well furnished with cook ware and staples. Comfortable queen size beds. Very clean!

Awesome Home

We have stayed at Rich's beach home twice now. We love the house!!!! This home is situated very well to provide privacy and quiet for sleeping (3 king size beds I might add ) and large area for the group to gather to chat and catch up. The house is furnished nicely with lots of seating area and a fabulous view of the ocean!!! Getting up in the morning and opening the sliding window and listening and watching the ocean while having coffee is one of my favorites. The fir pit and large patio area is great for everyone to gather and enjoy a fire while watching the sun go down. The new swings that swing out close to the ocean are really cool and soon became a favorite spot for us to relax. Rich is very helpful and available and helps you out with any of your needs while you stay. Highly recommend this home for a great stay at the beach

The views

Home is beautiful, but wasn’t good for our family. I contacted the Host before booking and asked about one of his properties. If it was wheelchair accessible, he directed me to the Martin house to be wheelchair accessible. The wheelchair needs to get in and out of the home easily. Not the case here there are three stairs going into the mudroom and three stairs going in to the front door. No ramp! Yes, the house inside is all one level and accessible.Getting in for my sister was a complete nightmare after we had already booked this location. Not everybody can do things without their wheelchair. Some can, some can’t, my sister can not. After getting in and settled. We found that we had to clean the fire pit out before we can use it, the pit was full of construction debris. views are amazing! We enjoyed our time together.

OBrien Family Vacation at the Beach

This was the 3rd annual trip to Newport,OR for our family. We travel from Washington and Idaho each year to celebrate July 4th at the ocean. This home, by far, is the best we have rented!! The layout of the house has beds at each end so some folks can retire to bed earlier than the rest of the family and the noise does not transmit. This is perfect for the different ages reflected in the group, 8 years to 76 years. All the beds are in top shape, which was important to us after experiences at other homes. The bathtub hot tubs were such a hit! The home is beautiful, clean, well supplied with even 2 washing machines and 1 dryer, 5 bicycles in the garage and 2 BBQs in the garage. We have already reserved this home for next year in 2026!!
