This place is very cute. There is a really good cafe in the lobby for coffee and baked goods. You will be near mansions. They give you parking, which is nice. The room was a decent size and clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Nice place! :)

A Historic Gem

A real and true Historic Gem 💎. Very beautiful and smells like fresh coffee all day with the wonderful restaurant Picnic attached to the Inn. It's a must stay if you get the chance.

We had a fantastic stay at this old and quaint inn. It was exactly what I expected. Room was cute and quirky. Definitely not like a standard hotel room. But it had all the amenities required for today's guests. Check-in and staff were very friendly. On-site (free) parking was fabulous. We walked everywhere around Newport. We'd definitely stay there again. Thanks for the fun, Inns At Bellevue!

We booked a small room with a queen bed and it was attractive, clean, and just what we needed for two nights. If you cannot negotiate steep stairs, this is not your place. Staff was friendly, very helpful, and a joy with which to deal. Included breakfast was yummy! First morning was spinach quiche, ham, and pancakes, with fruit salad, hard boiled eggs, muffins, and the expected drinks on offer. Second morning was French toast instead of pancakes. This place is great for the traveler who likes to be independent and experience the area. You can walk to the harbor and restaurants are around within walking distance. We took their card for next time!

Great location, no heat

Pros- the location is fantastic, it is very clean, the staff (or at least the very few I saw) were extremely friendly. Cons- Front Desk staff not always available, No blankets provided in room. Biggest issue was my room (#8). It was FREEZING. I was able to track down staff who asked Housekeeping to give me a blanket which did not help much. The heat totally failed on my last (third) night. Also, the room was directly over the kitchen and the smells filled the room beginning at 6am.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The inn itself is a charming antique and well located, but not for you if you prefer an elevator or the convenience/decor of modern hotel chains.
