The first room we were given, had sewage debris in the tub where the sewer had backed up. They gave us another room. The microwave was filthy with splatters on the inside top and back. Something had been spilled down the front of the fridge that hadn't been wiped off. There was a spill of something all over the bed skirt. There were stains on the sheets, burn holes in the blanket, spider webs all around the bed and lights, etc. There were bug droppings/stains on the floor along the bottom of the bed. The toilet was so low it was hard to sit down and get up off of it. The plug in to the hair dryer was broken and dangerous. I did inspections for a living before I retired. This room would never have passed inspection. I could go on with the spills I saw that hadn't been wiped up but it would take too much space. The housekeepers need training on how to properly clean a motel room. The evening desk clerk was nice but overwhelmed because of complaints by other guests while trying to get our room key figured out. I don't intend to ever stay here again.
