Kahden hengen huoneessa jatkuva karsea haju, ilmeisesti vessa vuoti tms. Muutoinkin epäsiisti. Onneksi ikkuna sisäpihalle missä jatkuva tasainen isojen jäähdyttymien humina, niin liikenteen melu ei haitannut vaikka ikkunoita piti pitää auki 24/7. Koko vierailun aikana ei saatu telkkarin eikä ilmastoinnin kaukosäätimiä, ei jaksettu käydä useampaa kertaa kysymässä kun huoneessa ei tullu juuri oltua niin ei kaivattu. Surkein kokemus näistä vanhoista ranskalaishotelleista mikä osunut kohdalle.

Hostel blisko głównego dworca kolejowego. W pobliżu sklepy w tym supermarket i główna ulica handlowa miasta. Do najciekawszych zabytków około 2 km. Pokój w miarę zadbany. Przy łóżku kontakt i lampka. Podstawowe wyposażenie wiec stół i krzesło, dostępne także zamykane szafki. Łazienka niestety bez okna i bardzo głośna (słychać było spuszczaną przez innych wodę z pokojów powyżej). Pokój wieloosobowy znajdował sie w dobudówce na podwórku. W cenie śniadanie na słodko: dżem, chleb tostowy, herbata, mleko. Sprawnie działające wifi. Ogólnie na plus. Minus kawałek od centrum (starego miasta). Średnie ceny.

Inexpensive and cozy stay at Antares

Antares Hotel is a very cozy, clean and inexpensive hotel right at the heart of Nice. I stayed 4 nights and the stay was excellent. Clean rooms with air conditioning (!) ensured my stay was a success. Free breakfast with coffee was a great addition!

They had a nice lounge downstairs, which I did realize until the end of my trip. Also, the bathroom was cleaned every day and the overall vibe of the hostel was positive and modern feel.

Great to have happy hour time

It is very good to have happy hour every day evening. But i recommend the happy hour to be held later, eg. 9 or 10pm, in summer. Because in summer, 7pm is too early to come back to hostel. There is air conditioner in rooms. It can reduce the heat, 30 ℃, in summer. But unfortunately, the roommate insisted to shut down the air conditioner once she got into the room. It made the room too hot to stay.

Жизнь удалась - это Ницца!

В отеле очень понравилось. Отлично разместили. Даже лучше, чем я оплатила. Меньше людей в комнате и только женщинв. Убирались, были завтраки. Угощали иногда вечером красным вином, другим алкоголем, лимонадом с солёными орешками. Гости все доброжелательно к друг другу относятся. Знакомятся. Вечером шумные компании пьют вино. Деляться впечатлениями. Я мало общалась. Но чувствовала себя в отеле прекрасно. Легко дойти до моря. Старый город рядом. Ещё рядом железнодорожный вокзал. Трамвай до аэропорта. Линия T2. Все отлично. А чистота зависит кто с вами живёт. Азиаты по другому понимают чистоту. Поэтому с ними жить не очень чисто. У них выпадает много волос и все они на полу в ванной и в комнате. И многое другое они не соблюдали. Зато самые общительные) Что ж все мы разные люди. Зато с одной планеты! А Ницца это город. Где чувствуешь, что жизнь удалась! И неважно сколько у тебя денег. Это витает в воздухе, разносится морем, Ницца прекрасна!! Путешествуйте чаше!

Für mich einer der besten Lagen in Nizza. Die Zimmer sind klein aber ok. Der Preis pro Nacht für Doppelzimmer CHF 87.- dürfte tiefer liegen.

During the booking process no mention was made that no towel will be provided, only after asking a towel was sold to me. Booking in took longer than required. No guest rules so some guests leave lights on and are noisy untill morning hours. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The place is a no-frills hostel and the cheapest in a very good location. The check-in was efficient, Diana and Ana were the best hostesses. I felt at home. All the other guests in the shared room were well behaved. I did not have any unpleasant surprises. Just bring your own soap-not provided. Overall, if you're travelling alone with minimal luggage, and you want cheap and within walking distance, Antares is your best choice.

4人部屋もいいけど…

良かった点: 朝食無料（トースト、シリアルなど簡単なもの、写真有り） フリードリンク（ワインとチップス） 24時間対応フロント スタッフの対応 利便性（ビーチまで徒歩20分圏内） 友人は個室、私は4人部屋に宿泊しました。 私が泊まった部屋は全員女性でした。おそらく男女別になっているのだと思います。ベッドの下に籠のようなものがありましたが鍵はなかったため貴重品は入れない方がいいでしょう。 特に大きな問題はなかったですが、シャワーの清潔感が気になったため、友人の個室でシャワーを浴びていました。もし部屋で浴びるなら私はサンダルが必須だったと思います。ビーチに行くと思うので、その時に履けるサンダルがあればいいかと。一応ドライヤーとバスタオルはありました。 個室に関してはベッドの質を除けばビジネスホテルなどと変わらないのではないでしょうか。4人部屋もお友達ができて良かったのですが、やっぱり個室がいいです。 SNCFの駅も近く（モナコやカンヌに行けます）、ダウンタウンに出ればトラムもあります（私たちはニースは全て徒歩で移動したので使っていませんが）。立地的にもお勧めできると思います。

Good option for travel-on-a-budget. Bed was clean and comfortable. They hosted a nice happy hour. Excellent location: near bus stop from airport, next to train station, next to tram that takes you to vieux Nice. Next door to Monoprix. An renovation of shared bathroom would be great.

Top hostel midden in de stad voor een citytrip!

Het Hostel zit echt 100 mtr lopen van Nice Ville. Je zit echt in het centrum van de stad. Alle zaken die je nodig hebt voor een citytrip zijn aanwezig. Kortom een tophostel!

OVER 40 BEWARE!!!!!

I booked 3 months prior and paid IN FULL for the 11 days booking at the Antares. I wrote to them saying that I had bad legs and would appreciate a lower bunk bed. I arrived after an overnight flight from Toronto/Paris/Nice and as I walked in with all my bags, I was greeted by the manager who rudely advised me that he could not accept me since I obviously was over 40 years old. Nowhere on the Hotels.com booking contract was it mentioned that they discriminated against backpackers over 40. I was quite upset and complained that he could not refuse me shelter after booking and paying in full. He told me that I could stay with paying extra formy own room. After paying over $400 for10 days I was not prepared to pay more euros yet. The manager told me that the room were not clean and check in was at 1:00 p.m. I went for breakfast and came back around noon. When I walkedin, themanager told me that he had CANCELLED my reservation. Refused to give me a copy of a typed form that he kept for himself without showing it to me, and told me to take a hike. I wentto book a LOWER bunk bed in a far superior hostel right in the heart of Nice: Villa St. Exupery where they DO NOT HAVE AGE DISCRIMINATION. A shameful situation, a rude and cruel attitude to send me away without trying to help me find another place to stay. DISGUSTING!!!

good stay

very clean and convenient location, good wifi, friendly staff! said no breakfast, but provided free morning coffee, tea, jam and bread. My first bed was under AC directly (las bed in the room), the reception helped to allocate me to another room for free. It's really good.
