"Exceptional location and customer service. Will definitely stay here again. Wally’s and Hillstone are directly across the street. Beautiful view of the ocean and Santa Monica pier from my room. Looooved it!"

"Upon check in i was greeted with a smile. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast at Shoreside Restaurant offers delicious food however the service was a little off. First visit, young lady took the order but wasn't informative on how many pancakes come in order or that some orders bring toasts so she charged me for toasts even though the meal came with it. We over order food unecesarily. Second visit we got our coffes first and it got cold after waiting for the food. They were unable to heat it but, didnt offer to give me fresher lates but offered to add hot coffe on top. Room service staff who answers the calls and takes the order also lacks some understanding. Twice they got my order with missing items. Last time I've asked for yogurt and fruits they said they couldn't do it. I went downstairs and the lady got me the order but the yogurt was not fresh. She was also on the cell for a while with my bag on hand until I had to approach her to get the back back to the room. This order with visible non busy night took way over 30 minutes. Other than those annoying issues. The hotel is located on a prime location. The pool is heated. Offers jazz on Thursday nights which i think its super romantic and chic. Hotel is maintained very well, security around and inside. I like that because there is a lot of homeless people hanging out a few meters out."

"Great location, beautiful rooms, excellent stay. I’d recommend for couples or business, maybe not for families with small children. Adult vibes. "

"My Kids and I stayed here for a couple nights and we really love the central location that this place has to offer on top of the fact that it has a very beautiful grounds. Yes, the valet is a little bit expensive and the taxes also ridiculous but it is really convenient because some other places would charge you to come in and out so in the end the last night we decided to do valet and I’m glad we did. I like that they had bikes and surfboards and beach chairs along with beach towels, right there as you leave. Everybody on the staff was super accommodating and helpful from the concierge at the front desk to the cleaning staff to the valet attendants. All were top notch nice. I didn’t really notice the traffic sounds until the last morning, but it didn’t wake me up or was extremely loud to me and I’m a pretty light sleeper so if you are not a fan of hearing the freeway at night, you might not want to stay here. But like I said, I am a light sleeper and it didn’t bother me. I would definitely consider coming back here to stay for a girls trip or a nice short, romantic getaway with my husband. "

"The Ambrose is a beautiful hotel. I loved my stay and I highly recommend. It is quiet and close to places to go in Santa Monica but a relaxing reprieve from all the hustle and bustle."

"We had a great overall stay. Our initial room was on a lower floor overlooking the trash area, but the staff handled the situation seamlessly and promptly moved us to a much more suitable room for the remainder of our week-long stay, which we really appreciated. Service throughout was consistently warm and attentive. Everyone was approachable, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Room service was efficient, though the food itself was fairly standard. The upstairs restaurant, however, was a pleasant surprise well-executed and accommodating. The rooms were beautifully decorated, with especially plush and comfortable bedding that made a noticeable difference. One small improvement would be the addition of a kettle in the room for easy tea access in the evenings. Overall, a very enjoyable stay with thoughtful service and inviting spaces."
