"The hotel is located a 10 minute walk from the Parghelia train station/approximately €1 train ride to Tropea. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax, but be close to Tropea this is a good option. We often didn’t see a need to leave the resort as the food was great, amenities were decent, and staff is friendly (especially the restaurant staff)."

"This is a lovely hotel in a great location…10-15 minute walk to the old town with restaurants and shops. The ocean views are wonderful with chairs all Ali g side in order to enjoy it. The ocean is reachable by a staircase…lots of stairs but I felt safe using them. Our room was large, beds and pillows were comfy. The room was cleaned every day. Breakfast which was included was delicious with lots of variety. The staff were all very friendly. Francesco is the bartender and was always there when we wanted a drink and snacks. He made great Mai Tais. There is a small pool…about twice the size of a hot tub. This little pool came in handy for me when I reached the top of the stairs from the beach…very refreshing. Beautiful outdoor lounges and table and chairs. My one complaint would be their hair dryers…just a nozzle really with hot air. Other than that, I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel. "

"Beautiful location with private beach. The beach is a little coarse and there are rocks in the ocean, but it was really nice. The pool and pool deck were great. Breakfast was good. Lunch and dinner menus were mediocre. Overall very happy with our stay. "

"We loved our stay at Hotel Borgo Di Santa Barbara. Easily communicated with hotel manager Martina throughout the duration of our stay through WhatsApp - scheduling transit and shuttles from Aurelio (staff). They were extremely nice our entire stay. The restaurant located on the property La Locanda was amazing, great food, nice and quiet patio outside. Would recommend staying here and would come back!"

"Great property! Friendly and professional staff. Thank you Santina, Domenico and Enzo. Always smiling and friendly. The property was well maintained with fig trees, pomegranate trees, rose bushes and lots more vegetation. They even have animals on site!!! Donkeys, rabbits and goats!!! There is a little lake with geese! The mini putt was a lot of fun. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!!"

"Good location, a 3 minute walk to downtown. The included parking is convenient since it is otherwise difficult to park in the area. Watch out for traffic if walking out of the property, specially with children, since it is near a busy intersection with no walkway. Property has a restaurant and a nice swimming pool. Good view of downtown from the top. Staff was attentive and helpfull."

"Suite rooms ran down to unbearable condition. Bedding and furniture are old and damaged. Electric appliances outdated and damaged. Ceramic tiles very old and cracked. Bedding sheets were not cleaned and had spots on them."
