"The hotel was a good affordable option for a quick stay in Basel. It was quite far from the train station, maybe 25-30 minute walk with suitcases. The hotel gave us Basel cards which meant the trams were free to use. The room itself was comfortable but needed some maintenance, the bathroom door didn’t close and the sink was blocked. "

"Clean and spatial. Staff friendly and efficient. Great breakfast. The only complaint is when the bathroom light is turned on it lights up the whole room through the glass partition between the bedroom and bathroom, so when one goes to the toilet at night the other person sharing the room may wake up also if s/he is sensitive to light. "Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The staff are all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The room was cosy with a cool fit out and interesting items. We did have noise problems being next to the lift and the restaurant/bar playing loud music under us until late. The staff did an amazing job relocating us to a quieter room (even when it was fully booked out) and made sure we were happy. "
