"What a great stay! The hosts were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy including picking us up and dropping us back at the train station. The apartment itself is beautiful and has everything you could need to be comfortable. We wish we had added another day to our trip just to stay in the apartment and look out over the vineyards. Hannelore pointed out a good restaurant just up the road for us to have dinner and a bakery for breakfast, both of which were amazing....

Located a block from the river with two parks in both directions down the road, plus a wine garden and ice cream vending machine. Restaurants, bakery and banks within walking distance. Well-supplied kitchen with dishwasher, but no microwave. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. The only slight drawbacks were that parking was in a narrow alley with a tricky turn, and the view out the front window...

"Our 4 night stay in Trechtingshausen was everything we had hoped for and more. The house was spacious, immaculate and very well appointed. The garden is beautiful and provides immediate access to a network of hiking trails that are well worth the effort. We rented e-bikes in nearby Bingen and cycled along the Rhine and into the nearby neighbouring towns, vineyards and historic sites. The Burg Reichenstein is within walking distance and should not be missed. In addition to Bingen, the local train...
