"Place was advertised as a whole house with 2 double beds, in the end it was only 1 room with one double bed, a shared livingroom/kitchen and bathroom. But the owners were understanding and gave us a different room as we couldn't sleep in the Same bed. It was clean and the location wasn't loud at all. Stairs were a bit small, but doable. A charming apartment in a lovely area
"This cozy apartment is charming, light and filled with interesting artwork and decorative items. The location is terrific – the splendid Wissekerke Castle is only about five minutes away on foot and the grounds surrounding it are lovely. The bedroom is extremely comfortable and looks out over the church in the adjoining square. One note of warning: the stairs to the bedroom are extremely narrow and steep, so this isn’t a good place for anyone with mobility issues. It’s easy and fun to get into Antwerp on the water bus (DeWaterbus). If you go, we particularly recommend the Plantin-Moretus Museum, which is a real jewel. Dmitri was a welcoming host and gave us lots of good advice. All in all, a lovely place to stay."
