"Host Ilias is very nice Person, he help us about everything. The House is big, enough for 4 maybe 5 people, very clean, close to the beach(80m), Restaurants, Supermarket, equipped with everything. The Location is perfect. Walking distance to the old town of Rethymno."

"We stayed at Villa Katerina in Crete as a group of 12 and overall had a great holiday. We’d rate it 4/5.The biggest selling point is without a doubt the view, it is absolutely stunning and completely made our stay. The outdoor space and pool were fantastic, and we spent most of our time there. The nearby beach cove was great fun, and the location was ideal, with Lidl just 10 minutes away and plenty of restaurants and beach clubs within walking distance.A special mention to Petros, the villa manager, who was friendly, attentive and always quick to help.The villa was generally clean and had everything we needed, but the interior is looking tired and would benefit from some TLC. There were peeling bed headboards, peeling paint, cracks and possible damp marks on some walls. Some bedding had stains, the blankets felt dated, and the mattresses were hit and miss. The kitchen was also quite small for 12 people. The sunbeds were uncomfortable, and although cushions were provided after we mentioned it, they didn’t make much difference.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay thanks to the incredible views, great location and excellent service from Petros. With a modest refresh to the interior and furnishings, this villa could easily be exceptional. We’d happily return if those improvements were made."
