Cedar Cottage, a private and cozy experience

"Unfortunately we were only able to stay for one night at the cottage but we found the stay very relaxing. Cottage is easy to access but still somewhat secluded. Watching the sun come up above the mountains in the morning was spectacular."
"Despite proximity to host's home there was plenty of privacy on the lakeside of the cabin. There was some noise from the roadway, but minimal. Cabin and grounds were very clean, and the kitchen/sitting area/bathroom were well appointed and comfortable. Guests should be aware that steep, narrow stairs could be difficult to navigate for some, and sleeping loft has very low ceilings that prevent standing upright. This neighborhood currently has a boil water advisory. Despite this we had a lovely stay and look forward to a return visit."

"We had a very relaxing time but Jackson, the cat, made it special. Little did I know that the large orange tabby trotting down the road towards us, that I saw in my rear view mirror when we pulled into the parking area, was the welcoming committee. Jackson was always available for a cuddle or just to keep you company. I never even missed my cats. We also saw a doe and her fawn, a black bear and a bunch of wild turkeys from the back deck. The kitchen was well stocked. The only thing I missed was a microwave. Kaslo is a nice little town. It was the perfect place to just relax, read, and knit. "
