"This is an additional review to the first. To those of you thinking that it’s a good location, forget it. Yes, it’s scenic forest with a lot of vegetation. But it’s too secluded. Theres absolutely nothing you can walk to. You have to taxi everywhere. To give you a picture, it’s like 10-13 mile to the Tobu line and a little more to the JR Station. Just a simple taxi from the station to the hotel is like $60 average for a half hour drive. The hotel offers no Shuttle services. So, plan to add a...

"The rooms were nice and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty with a nice view."

"The hotel is just a block and a half from the Tobu Nikko Station (less than 5 min walk) but at night the street is very dark. Front desk staff spoke English and were very friendly. Breakfast was simple but good, with a few western and Japanese options. Staff at the restaurant were super kind. There's a larger supermarket a block away from the hotel but I just found out about it on the day of my departure, so I didn't have a chance to visit.

"The nicest hosts of any hotel we have stayed at in a long time. Everything, was perfect in every way. We could not have hoped for more!"

"The location was ideal with a beautiful view of the lake. The staff was so very helpful and considerate and the food was amazing! It was very convenient to the Kogen falls and other shops in town. Thank you for a wonderful visit while in Nikko."

"It was lovely"

"Lovely accommodation with lots a space. 15 min walk to bus and station"
