"I stayed in one of the rooms with the open air bath on the balcony, and it was one of the best views I've had at onsen. The room was great! I thought the men's public bath was a little run down, but still enjoyable. My wife thought the women's was very good and didn't mention any issues. I hope they can fix it back up because it's a beautiful hotel! I would definitely go again for the same room we had!"

"Had had a great stay in this beautiful hotel. One of our group members had left behind his bag in a remote restaurant prior to his arrival and with the great assistance of the hotel staff, we managed eventually to confirm that the bag had been sent to a police station. The staff, who didn’t speak good English , had been very patient in understanding my Japanese of limited proficiency , and had the matter sorted out to our great satisfaction."

"館内はリノベーションされていて快適に過ごせました。　和室の畳は凹んだりするところもありますが、気になりません。朝ご飯は品数が豊富で、とても美味しかったです。男風呂は修繕できていなかったようで、ゆっくりできませんでした。貸切風呂を最初に予約しておいた方がいいのかもしれません。私たちは予約がいっぱいで貸切には入れませんでした。　全体的には快適に過ごせました。"

It’s overpriced and I found the staff to be dishonest. No body speaks English, and while this was fine at other hotels who were intelligent enough to communicate by pointing and body language, as is standard around the world, the staff here seemed incapable or just uninterested. "
