"Overall, we had a good experience at the Hyatt in Portland. The location was excellent, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel had great amenities. Unfortunately, the condition of the carpet in our room was a major disappointment. We were traveling with our pets, and the carpet appeared to have been heavily soiled by previous animals and had a very strong urine odor. It was unpleasant enough that it significantly impacted our stay. We really liked many things about the hotel, especially the location and service, but because of the condition of the pet-friendly room, we would most likely choose to stay somewhere else the next time we are in Portland. I would strongly recommend that the hotel replace or thoroughly address the carpeting in rooms designated for guests traveling with pets."

"We were in GR for a wedding, and many of the family and friends were staying in this hotel. The rooms and main areas were clean and well cared for and the staff friendly. The elevator was broken, which was an issue for some elderly guests and those who had to navigate the stairs in long dresses and heels. I'm sure they will get that fixed quickly. The only other issue was the coffee was almost always out, even at breakfast when the breakfast area had been opened less that 15 minutes. We were told by the person filling the breakfast that they were out of coffee for the day, so we walked to the Starbucks about 1/2 mile away to get some. Other than that the stay was good and it was located in an area that was easily accessible."

"I enjoyed my stay. The check in process was seamless. The room, the linen, and the bathroom were all very clean. The breakfast was good as well. There were a variety of things to choose from. The location of the hotel was also great. Everything was within a 10-15 min drive. Overall, my weekend stay was good."

"Outstanding Service and Exceptional Hospitality! I had an absolutely wonderful experience during my stay this weekend. What stood out the most was the outstanding customer service from the moment I arrived. After being up since 3:00 AM, spending the day in meetings and traveling, I arrived at the hotel completely exhausted. I was expecting the usual check-in process, but the front desk staff member made everything incredibly easy. She simply asked for my name and already had everything prepared. My reservation was checked in, my credit card information was already on file, and she handed me my room key without making me go through a long process. She then explained how to get to my room, wished me a great night, and even asked if I needed a wake-up call for the morning. After such a long day, that level of efficiency and genuine thoughtfulness meant so much. She was absolutely amazing! The following morning, I came downstairs for breakfast and had another wonderful interaction with a member of the staff. She greeted me with a beautiful smile and immediately made me feel welcome. She asked what I would like for breakfast and personally showed me where the coffee was located. Her warm attitude and willingness to assist were another example of the excellent service throughout my stay. It is often the small things that make a hotel stay memorable, and this team got those things exactly right. From the effortless check-in to the warm breakfast service."
