"El alojamiento un acierto. Éramos 10 y había 5 habitaciones. Mucho espacio tanto dentro de la casa como fuera para estar a gusto. Coral, la anfitriona nos lo hizo todo muy fácil. Antes de ir, nos dió toda la información que necesitábamos y también nos dió la posibilidad de dejar la casa el domingo después de comer. Por poner una pega solo hay dos baños y en algunos momentos eran muy solicitados pero nos arreglamos bien."

El camino de acceso impone la primera vez por las cuestas, pero pronto te acostumbras. Muy limpio y los propietarios muy amables y serviciales tanto antes como durante la visita. "This is a really beautiful little hotel in a historical building. Our room (Junior suite) was just gorgeous and very much in keeping with the historical ambiance while the bathroom was highly modern with a great shower. A beautiful inner courtyard invites for reading a book or having a glass of wine while the terrace outside comes to life with locals in the evening. An ideal place to stay as a convenient halfway point between the Basque mountains and Bilbao (bus leaves half-hourly right outside the hotel, and there's trains too)."

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, nous étions 3 familles avec ados, la maison permet que chacun ait son espace tout ayant des grandes tablées aux repas. Une belle maison de vacances pour rayonner dans le pays basque Espagnol. Antonio était très disponible et nous a facilité l’arrivée et le séjour, merci !"

"Nice gardens surrounding the house/palace in an isolated natural place inviting to relaxing and enjoy nature. Only 30 minutes to Santoña and other attractions. Restaurant team very friendly but people at reception were not friendly not knowledgeable, so making some situations uneasy. Only breakfast and dinner offered at the hotel restaurants. Food was quite good. A couple of local small restaurants in the town. We likes Casa de Montaña."

"This is a beautiful hotel nestled in the hills with very highly quality facilities and amenities. The food is great and the service is very personal. The staff are also very welcoming and hospitable. Juana, Yadira, Irima , Marcela and the team made us feel welcome and went out of their way to make us feel welcome . We will be back!"
