"It's a hotel in the mt. Hiko area. The room is a bit dated and requires a bit fixing, but overall it's a nice stay. The view overlooking the mountain and forest is great. "

"I stayed 3 nights for a conference in Shimonoseki. The hotel is clean, has all the amenities I need, and the onsen was a plus. Hotel provides pyjamas and all sorts of skin care products at no additional charge. The open bar in the evenings was also a nice touch. There are good restaurants within walking distance."

"The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from the railway station. Shopping arcade,a mall and a temple are all within walking distance. The room is clean, spacious and the provision of a air purifier has added value to the hotel. Bus services provided by Nishitetsu and Kitakyushu city allow one to travel easily to other major towns."

"This was a pleasant hotel once we found it! If you put in Simonosekiosakaya into any maps or uber app to get a taxi it does not recognise it. The name of the hotel is Osakaya so please use that when searching- although that also did not work on some apps so we had to find it on the map ourselves. This spoilt our first day and we wasted nearly an hour!
Lovely views from our spacious room"

"The hotel is huge and free parking, the front desk staff is super friendly, the room is clean; they have a lounge with free drink, wine and snacks; they also have a coffee corner that you can make coffee by yourself; they have an outdoor pool and a church but due to the weather they didn't open, but the view are gorgeous"

"Very restful and peaceful stay. Will gladly book another stay in the future. Staff was very polite and friendly as well as helpful. Location is convenient. Everything I needed was in walking distance."

"I was supposed to meet a family member here, but their flight was canceled and could no longer meet me here in Japan. I needed to cancel this reservation because of this disappointing turn of events. I messaged the hotel staff during the window of time necessary to cancel without late-cancellation fees, however the staff did not respond to me until after that window had passed, and would not budge on their policy of charging me for the entire stay. I was very unimpressed by their business ethics...

"Beautiful view of Kokura with the mountains in the background, and the lively city in the foreground. Great location for catching the Shinkansen the next morning."
"Convenient to Hakata station, the hotel is a great place to stay in Fukuoka. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection of Japanese and Western style. Very beautiful inside as well."
"Loved this hotel. My room was clean, spacious and cozy and the view was absolutely spectacular. Lovely big windows onto the ocean. Absolutely perfect!"
"The only little negative thought is about congested breakfast area. I had one morning where end up waiting 30 min in a queue. Otherwise, location is perfect next to Hakata station if you choose Fukuoka as your base city and do day trips to the other Kyushu areas. Enjoyed my stay."
"We accidentally went to the other Forza 1 not knowing there was another with the same name but II at the end of the name. Fortunately it was close by. Maybe a warning to future visitors to be aware of the forza I and Forza II. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay with it being close to the station and great restaurants. "
"The receptionist was very professional, however the hotel is not that good, the breakfast was very disappointing and wasn’t made for tourists. There is no choice like the other hotel with breakfast buffet. I only ate the bowl of rice.
For sleeping only I recommend but do not take the breakfast."
