"Wonderful property. Spacious and everything we needed for our family of 5. Great to find a place with separate rooms for sleeping as well. "

"A clean, efficient unit, much like a small apartment. Has a stove top, microwave and small kitchen to prepare simple meals or heat up things. About a 10min walk to the train station and a short wall to a bus stop and family mart. It is a walk up so you will need to climb stairs to your unit. The bathroom is like new and the bed is comfortable. "

"A really great place to stay. Very spacious with a full kitchen and washer and dryer. It is a true one-bedroom unit with plenty of room. The Chromecast on the TV is a great touch because you can stream any content off your phone if you don't speak a Japanese. We really loved staying here."

"We were within about 10 blocks of Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen Garden - this meant the only time we actually needed to ride the bus was to and from Kanazawa Station, only 3 stops away. The rest was completely walkable with kids. The apartment was located in Kinboro- well known for the several hundred year old Samurai residences. We were within a few hundred meters of excellent dining options. One of those was Izumino, whose amazing owners stuffed us with sashimi and crab cakes and spoiled...

"Great size room with a little balcony, walking distance to everything. The only thing that could make the property better is having an electric kettle."

"The apartment was clean and bright. Cooking was possible and it was a very convenient location. Some messages weren’t responded to which is a problem in an unmanned hotel. Like most places in Japan there’s a real lack of flexibility around bedding (the eiderdown/doona is way too hot with no other options - take note management.)"

"The room was great, well lit, very large, easy walk with luggage from the train station. We were placed in an annex. Maybe the actual hotel is better. There are 2 flights of narrow steep stairs. No elevator, this was very difficult carrying luggage up. There was another room in the annex which you share the kitchen and toilet with those tenants. You do get your own shower, which is private, but its in the same room. You share the vanity, mirror, there are 3 sinks and you get your own blow dryer....

Beautiful hotel.

"Beautiful room. Very comfortable. Shower, toilet and wash hand basin all in separate areas of the room??? No where to hang your clothes. Only 6 coat hangers. No drawers. No option other than the local brown rice tea. Didn't get a chance to use the public bath as it closed at 10am and didn't open again until 3pm. Breakfast was rice and fish set tray. No options."

"Firstly, this was a beautiful hotel. However, my main reason for loving it was that I actually left a backpack at the Starbucks next door and had left for Tokyo. I do not speak Japanese and I was leaving Japan 3 days later. The hotel staff actually helped me contact Starbucks to retrieve it and arranged for it to be shipped to my next hotel in a day and a half! Amazing service. I couldn’t thank them enough for being so awesome. "

"Onyado Nono Kanazawa is an amazing place to stay -- a real highlight of our vacation. Their Japanese breakfast buffet was the best I've ever experienced. Their onsen are open from 3pm to 10am so you can go multiple times a day. And the hotel is full of thoughtful amenities. A real gem!"
