Tierra del sol

Beautiful very clean apartment. Like a home away from home. A quiet area away from the high-rise hotels. Had an air conditioning issue that was resolved quickly. Just to be aware there is no outdoor space. If you want to use the community pool there is a fee, and you have to reserve seats, there may be a limit on how many you can reserve, but the pool overlooking the golf course and ocean is beautiful. The restaurant at the course was wonderful- we ate there twice, with some happy hour deals. The staff will call you a cab if you are going elsewhere. Located very close to a great snorkeling spot that we visited 3 times. There were two chairs in the apartment for the beach. We golfed twice- a little pricey, and very challenging with the wind, but overall a lot of fun. Recommend if you want to have that homey feel. Be able to prepare some of your meals, do laundry, have space to relax, and watch movies at the end of the day.

Beautiful place

Overall this was a beautiful apartment in a very beautiful location. We loved that it was close to Arashi Beach, close to family we came to see and not far from anything else we wanted to see and do. The apartment itself is clean with plenty of room for the 6 of us. One of the bathroom shower drains did clog the first night but my dad fixed it. All of the amenities worked fine except that the dryer did leave black marks on everything. We loved that they had beach chairs and towels! We did have heavy rain the day before we left that came into the apartment and it took awhile to reach the owner but after that things were taken care of. We also got kicked off the internet 2 days before checkout and had to get that fixed as well. The only thing I did not like and still have not had rectified is an extra charge for $42 on my credit card that was not included in the emails regarding payment nor were any of my emails ever answered about it? Other than that, we did love the property and check-in and check-out was a breeze. Thanks

Villa was modern and easy to feel comfortable in

The apartment/villa was clean and modern and on one story which was helpful and easy to get around. The unit was very quiet and views of the golf course lovely. Victor Lopez the manager was very busy but was helpful in bringing in a microwave since the unit didn't have one. I would stay there again and being a part of the Tierra del Sol community.

Aruba

All was basically good. There were a few communication issues and we thought this property had 2 King Beds. It only has one. Also, note that use of the resort pool costs money when properties are not booked through Playa del Sol directly. Finally, the kitchen could be better equipped. We did get two additional beach chairs when we requested them. There were only two in the apartment.
