"10/10 would stay again, such a charming house with modern amenities, it’s like if Laura Ingels-Wilder had a tv and a recliner. very comfortable, very quiet, close to our kayaking river float. we enjoyed seeing all the wildlife from the windows and deck of the property. Tony had thought of everything in terms of kitchen supplies, I packed over-prepared. I’d recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area"

"The property was breathtaking, so beautiful. The interior was comfortable and cozy. Games and puzzles galore. Thoroughly enjoyable. We did notice a gathering of insects in the tub room on the floor in the corner and walking around other rooms. Some movement can be heard from the upstairs."

"We booked to get out in nature and unwind. This property checked the boxes. It’s something different and location was great. There are a lot additional fees that drive the cost up. While it was nice to feel secluded away from people, the porta potty was from the 80s and pretty gross. We would have had more room in a tent and would have been much cheaper."

"North of Decorah, but drivable for meals if you don’t want to cook. Beautiful setting with a fishable creek on the property. Centrally located to the popular fly fishing streams. Excellent internet connection. Bring a map if you’re going to be driving - google map doesn’t work everywhere in this part of Iowa. Really appreciated the paper plates"

"Had some issues with door lock and no blind/curtain on bedroom exterior door sunlight came through from alley. Very close and convenient to downtown and were able to park vehicle and walk to places. It did smell “Smokey” and we came to realize was coming from place across the hall and coming in place. We really weren’t in place except at night/morning hour."
