"A lovely warm welcome awaited us at The France Hotel. The room was great, very comfy, and very clean. Breakfast was generous and served in a nice breakfast room. Typical continental breakfast, and all good quality. The hotel is in a pedestrian area, but the underground parking La Breche is very convenient, and only a couple of minutes walk away. Great stay, thank you very much."

Certainly not what you would expect on a 4* property and not at 115 euros. "Arrived to a note on the door to call for entry code. Told to pick up key from board and let myself in. No welcome at all. Bathroom small and clean, bedroom just enough space for virtually the bed. Minimal hanging space, 1 hook on some misplaced bookshelf. The interior is drab and grey, badly needs updating. My departure was also faceless. Nobody on reception at most times"

Personnel sympathique.
Chambre peu confortable: très bruyante ( bruit de la rue, craquement du parquet à l'étage au dessus, etc ), lumières atroces notamment les lampes de chevet très éblouissantes. Salle de bain : pas de double vitrage, pas de rideaux à la fenêtre. Le verre cathédrale n'est pas suffisant quand la lumière est allumée... "
