"The hotel is ideal for relaxing by the sea. The buildings are smart and enhanced with artworks. The villa and dining room are lovely, with views over the water. Food was a good standard. The bedroom was the weakest part - rather ordinary, and located in barracks around the grounds. Great value overall. "

"Is a unique B&B. The ferry going back and forth to Vaxholm is convenient, although would be good if people staying in the B&B didn’t have to pay to leave the island. "

"This is a very unique little hotel sitting directly on the main Vaxholm ferry terminal. The building itself is historic (so, naturally, old) and no-frills, but it was clean, well-kept, and charming, and the staff were very friendly and responsive. I enjoyed sitting on my patio and looking out at the boats. The breakfast buffet had everything one could want. It felt very safe, as well. "

"Lovely location but let down by service level. Stay there every year, but this year there was a noticeable lack of attention by the staff. Few smiles, long waiting times to be served and an apparent lack of customer attention. Not as it used to be which is a great shame."
